"Your rendering device has been lost!" Error in overwatch 2 caused by Discord

I’ve been getting this error a lot when in discord calls and playing overwatch with friends. NOTHING i have tried has fixed it, so far i have

Excluded OW2 from my anti-vius
Updated drivers and my PC
Verfied my game files
Turned off discord overlay
Checked for overheating
Compared specs with minimum requirements ( i have a gtx 780 which isn’t great but above the minimum of a 600)

I know for a fact discord is causing this because the game never crashes while it’s closed. Does anyone know how i can fix this?

Maybe its all about discord overlay?

…did you not read the part that says i turned off discord overlay, and that it didn’t work?

I’m still having issues with this. I basically have to turn discord completely off in order to play the game.

Heya!
I had to turn off the “Hardware Acceleration” on Discord.
That fixed it and many other problems since discord can be very “demanding” with your hardware components.
