Your rendering device has been lost

The game randomly crashes for me for no reason.
I don’t have any other app opened on my PC.
Only Overwatch.
It never happened before. It all started after the last patch.
My drivers are updated. Tried to reinstall Windows, tried to reinstall Overwatch, tried to play on lowest settings possible. No difference.
Solutions?

When i was having some crash issues (mainly from rendering highlights) i found out that my files were saved on One-Drive. I’m not sure where you save your files, but if they are in a cloud based service, i suggest reinstalling them directly on your pc.

I solved my rendering device issue by having my GPU handle all scaling tasks.

NVIDIA Control panel>Adjust desktop size and position
Set Scaling to “No scaling”
Set “Preform scaling on:” to GPU
Check the box “Override the scaling mode set by games and programs.”

Hope this helps.

Will having my GPU do all the scaling tasks affect the performance of WoW?

Also Blizzard, can you refund the 300SR I lost due to your bug? which I can see has been around for atleast a year from the other posts on these forums!

I set my GPU to do the scaling, still get the error!! C’mon Bliz fix your damned game!!
