"invalid version"

Hi, I am currently having the problem of my client saying i am on 4.12.1 (latest update), but when I start the game it says “Invalid version” and I can see in the bottom left corner that it says version 4.12.0.

I asked my brother to check and he is still on the patch 4.12.0. Really strange.

I updated to 4.12.1 just about 3h ago, right when the news for the patch was announced. I also saw the patch notes on the client but now I can’t see it anymore only 4.12.0.

Anyone know how to fix this?

EDIT: Apparently I was wrong. My brother and I have the same problem. Both of us are on 4.12.1 as I assume most are. I can log into the NA server but can’t log into EU server where it still says game is on 4.12.0 Patch.

I guess game patchs aren’t simultanous on all servers.

Same Problem here. Seems like EU servers are not updated yet unlike US servers but the update was already pushed to all clients. RIP EU.

It’s possible that your battle net app isn’t updating correctly. Please try these steps:
