MMR - Rank bugged once again

It seems that every few months, the ladder gets bugged.
My MMR says I am Diamond, but i get ranked in Gold, despite winning/playing against opponents ranked Diamond/Master.

(I am not the only one having this problem, as I have seen many other players getting ranked way below their MMR. A friend of mine got ranked in Platinum despite having a Master MMR.)

I had the problem several times and the only option was always to wait a few days, get ranked back into Diamond, if not leave the league and repeat after days.
But it doesn´t seem to be fixed in general since the problem still remains (my 3rd time now).

Sometimes (I don’t know exactly when) when you start playing ranked, you get an MMR and “Provitional MMR”. I don’t know what purpose this second MMR serves. Your league is based on your provisional MMR, your opponent based on your regular MMR. This happens to me when I get 2v2 ranked with someone.

The only other legitimate reason I know for not being in your correct league is if you played your placements when the season was already locked. I doubt this is the problem.

Update

I have made now 3 more games, 2 with Zerg which i won against Diamond 3 and Diamond 2. Same than before, my MMR is still Diamond 3 but my rank is Platinum 3 now.

I have made a game with Protoss, (Diamond 3 before), now Platinum 1 which is higher than my Zerg ranking despite my ZergMMR and Rank have been higher and better before. :smiley:

I don’t know if Blizzard is reading, comments on the forum, I hope that they are reading, because, as I was told, in Russian-speaking forums, they are ignored. So, I want to express my opinion on this matter:

  1. I consider 2x2 games to be unfair, in which teams playing a rating game against teams in a unrated game come across (this is not true of rating teams, because if they lose, they lose rating, while the opponent loose, hmm, okay) ;
  2. I consider it unfair 2x2 games in which teams of 2 played friends play against a team of 2 random players (sometimes it is very difficult to play 2x2, in diamonds, in a team with some kind of 2k MMR idiot);
  3. I also noticed that the selection system in 2x2 games does very ugly: only do you play with a random player, so you, whatever you stand out, give an obviously weaker ally … Example: you have 4k MMR You will be given an ally of 2k MMR, and the average you will have 3k MMR, while the opponent has 2 players with 3k MMR who feel great himself about this imbalance …

The problem persists. I have platinum MMR and play against platinum opponents but the game keeps placing me in silver. I already left the league and played the placement again, with the same result.
Blizzard?

I’m in the same boat, I can’t beleive Blizz is not fixing this…

I just lost all my placement games, fresh account, 2-10 record, NO previous history
AND I GOT PLACED IN MASTER LEAGUE
And… I keep losing, and they keep promoting me…
