New patch absurdness and the fall of a legendary game

I want to congratulate blizzard about the new patch. With the latest few patches and the new upcoming one, you single handedly managed to wipe out the protoss race. A thing that the zerg couldn’t do for 28 years since the release of the game. You overbuffed the zerg and terran again and again, and nerf the protoss race so it becomes unplayable in high ranking competitive games. Thats absurd and gone to far.

Right now 12 out of top 16 in EU GM ladder are protoss … does not strike me as a wiped out race

those are same type of people that ruined gaming from the early days of multiplayer.

remember that worms armageddon cluster granade was being ruined because someone (not developer) didnt like the idea that it was random and sometimes somebody else could make kills with it. they only buff bazooka and standard granade.

cluster granade had 4 shards that each popped up and made around 25 damage originally. this mean that if you calculated 2 shard to hit enemy worm you made more damage than just hitting with basic granade or bazooka. it required still very much skill to do so and often the shard would not hit and the damage output was low.

cluster gramade dmg after neft was something like 10 meaning that even if you hit perfectly with it requiring all shards to hit single worm and shard explosion itself (makes small dmg) it would damage total worm LESS than direct hit with a bazooka.

you can obviously tell here that the person who made the neft was not making the neft based on math or analytics but instead based on his emotions and rage against match ups where he lose to guys “who seemed to randomilly win him with cluster granade w/o skill”. but he could do it himself.

also they nerf homing missile claiming that anybody could hit with it so that it would not make any damage and be useless compared to any other weapon. eventually end in a situation where the game was not suitable for different type of play but just one. and the game become 50% less fun…

imagine somebody else who you are competing with to change the rules of the games you are competing… its absurb

you are wrong.In fact,even to this day,protoss is still overpower.For example,the attack distance of tempest so long ,but patches strengthen it again and again!Most of protoss units still overpower,protoss deserve to be weaken.Protoss will be overpower for a long time and will not be weak forever.

Well in my opinion one should consider this:
EMP instant damage vs Fungal and storm dmg over time
Overcharge global cooldown Scan no …
You can save anergy and cast mules at once, hower chronoboosting affects only once

The only thing that ruined this game was reducing resources across the map so it’s impossible to macro.

Also removing FFA servers and saying “LOL YOU CAN MAKE UR OWN” was pretty insulting.

Also it is ridiculous how llittle by little with the passing of the years, the game has been running a little bit faster with each patch. I was testing the game in vs AI and played a few maps with the game in WoL mode. For me it felt much better: able to manage, sensible game speed that allows you to manage and think of some strategy. As compared to how it is now where there is this idiocy of “skill = APM”, where skill means how fast you can click and how good a typist you are. Now a single missclick or a half second distraction, can cost you the entire army and the game. In WoL speeds, you could play, plan. Now you just pump pump pump pump units (and don’t forget to keep an eye on those typist skills too as mentioned).
There are many more things I could say about how it all has deteriorated with the passing of time. But I don’t think it will make any difference. We are simply milk cows to Activision. Making money on a game they didn’t make has nothing to do with improving said game. It’s just bussiness.
