I check the “similar” post i was shown, saw there being 0 implementation, and/or presences of the “Our development team regularly gathers feedback and suggestions from our players’ comments on the forums. Choose the appropriate forum and share your ideas with us!”
So i assume it’s not related to the offline game since that is something the so called dev team definitly would have responded, no?
Since we all know why why no offline play exist (and if you don’t know, then bless you, i too wish i could just play end enjoy games without constantly realising what is going on), i will do a compromise where there is a timmer and well the launcher is still present.
1st of all: it’s the same as using the in game cheats. No achivements and no gameplay recording (since people can just use autoplay bots and this is one of the only valid reasons why online 100% ) , of course, no online since that is not offline mod. And most of all what i said at the start: same as using in game cheats. you can use cheats to unlock the next story missing? well so does this one work. You can use cheats to help unlock achivements? no? well that i why i said no achivements in offline mod.
The timmer: exist simple to prevent us staying offline 24/7 since, as i said, we all know why there is no presents of the dev team regarding 3 (if not more) offline play suggestions.
the launcher also is still present (why? see above since i will not repeat again), but shows nothing. No new games, news, dlcs, nothing. it’s just there, to launch the game.
When does the launcher exit the “offline mode” (that is not really offline mode but more like “when we don’t have internet” logic)? when we want to change the blizzard game we want to play. Yep, as i said, there are hacking related issue so this is something that is needed. And this also means if we boot up our pc, and open to play, the launcher will be online and needs us to activate offline mod ← again, the “device has no internet” but with extra stuff.
And well really, anything to do with our account.
To rephase:
we select a game
we start it not directly but via a new option saying: start in offline mode
launcher then get’s a blank (nothing) interface that says only 2 things: Launch game, exist offline mode.
Pressing launch game is self explained and so is the other but will duble down just in case:
The timer shows after how much time the launcher will exist the offline mod ← if no internet then it will be the current “devices has no internet” interface.
And if we want to change the game, change account settings, or to simple exist the offline mode, all we need to do is exist click the exist offline mode.
Meaning that the offline mode is really just no distraction or focuse mode.
And hopefully like this people can play a video game without needing to constantly…. ah yes, let me not say more since i already made it clear why the other 3, and most likely mine as well, will just be ignored.
