Resolution on 3840x1080 on MAC M3 chip

I have been playing Starcraft 2 on an Intel MacBook Pro using my 49" wide screen monitor for over 7 years now. Mostly on Battle net. The game looked wide and great. I just switched to an Apple chip MacBook Pro. The picture was screeched on the 49" monitor. I wanted to copy my game history to this new machine. I copied the StartCraft II folder, which is the game progress folder from the old machine (intel) to the new one (apple). When I launched the game after coping the game progress folder to the new Mac the picture was all wide just like the old intel MacBook. I played well all day. Turned off the new laptop. Next day I tried to play on the new Mac and the picture was all stretched again and the mouse cursor was off. So I deleted the StartCraft II progress folder and copied the folder from the older Mac again. Launched the game on the new Mac and the picture was again nice and wide again. So I figured I just have to copy that folder from the old mac to get the nice wide picture on the new mac. But now I tried to do the same and the game just makes a new StartCraft II folder instead of reading the old one that I copied. So now my screen is all stretched and can’t even change the graphics option on the game because the mouse cursor is off so can’t make any selections.
Anyone had luck playing in a wide screen monitor?
