Hey Everyone,
It looks like we are seeing some improvement on this with players able to login and play again. If you are still seeing either the queuing error or connecting to battle.net services please reply to this post as the investigation has not yet concluded.

Hello,
Issue seems to be back again for me. I was playing for an hour and once game is over I am not able to login anymore.
Hi, I just installed SC2 after years again and I get the “temporary unavailable “ message when I try to log in on EU servers. US works fine.

Same here: Installed SC2 after years, but cannot sign in because:
“There is a temporary outage of the Battle.net service. Please try again later.”
Considering your post has been 6 hours ago it doesn’t seem to be merely a 10-minute-hickup as well.
EDIT: While I’m on Vodafone in Heidelberg (Germany) I also tried using an ExpressVPN connection via Frankfurt and the problem persists. So it’s not limited to a single ISP.

Hello,
I haven’t had the opportunity to play SC2 for about a month, and today I suddenly came across this new error, which everyone is discussing here. After starting the game, an authentication error occurs and nothing helps.

Wow, same situation for me. I haven’t played SC2 in years. Decided to reinstall it, and I can’t login to the EU servers. I had a mini heart attack at first because I mistakenly logged in the US servers and saw all my progress gone. Then quickly realized it was a region issue. But I can’t connect to EU at all. “Temporary outage, try again later”.
I am in France BTW, so seeing how someone in Germany has the same problem at approximately the same time means it’s probably not linked to our specific network or ISP.

I’m also encountering the “There is a temporary outage of the Battle.net service. Please try again later.” error. Just came back from some months of not playing and after following everything that I could find on the net (delete test.exe that wasn’t there, repairing, re-downloading…) the error still persists

Still doesn’t work. Honestly it’s getting ridiculous that this kind of error comes back after a month and still takes already over 2 days to resolve.
