Starcraft remastered on new MacBook M1

And i ran only 32 bit version of SC. How lunch 64bit through wine i don’t know. Diablo 2 exists only 64 bit, and i can’t lunch it same way.

Si se puede jugar, solo debes actualizar a la última versión del Mac OS (Monterrey), te diré que los gráficos en M1 no son para nada buenos, no me queda de otra que seguir jugando en mi PC con Windows.

How about make a collective legal work on Blizzard ? We paid for this game. We also paid for several internal goods. An almost one year could not have one fix for the most popular laptop platform.

Blizzard, shame on you. The worst client experience ever!

I just bought this game and I can’t even get it to work. is there any update

Today is Mar.27 2022.
I am still waiting new SC Remaster version witch supporting M1 chip.

Hello Dennis,

This problem should be solved upgrading to Monterey. If despite the upgrade, you’re still crashing, please let us know.

Today is Sept 2, I just updated to the latest patch. M1 Mac. Game still crashes at each attempt. I have not been able to play SC2 since December. Rude.

Starcraft Remastered and Starcraft 2 work fine for me on an M1 Macbook Pro, try them again, whatever issues there were appear to be fixed.

Still no native M1 versions for them, but the intel ones work with Rosetta 2.

Same here, I am 12.3.1 Monterey and problem persist. Help please

Hey there!

It’s a bummer that you’re having trouble getting your Blizzard games to run on your new MacBook Pro M1. You’re definitely not alone, as many users have reported similar issues with M1 Macs.

Here’s what we know:

  • Rosetta 2: Blizzard games currently rely on Rosetta 2, Apple’s translation layer, to run on M1 Macs. This can sometimes lead to instability and crashes.
  • Native Support: Blizzard is aware of this and has stated they are working on native M1 support for their games. However, there’s no official timeline for when this update will be released.

Things to try in the meantime:

  • Update Battle.net and Games: Ensure you have the latest versions of the Battle.net app and your games installed. Sometimes, updates can contain fixes for compatibility issues.
  • Reduce Graphics Settings: Lowering the graphics settings within the game might help improve stability.
  • Repair Game Files: Use the Battle.net app’s “Scan and Repair” tool to check for and fix any corrupted game files.
  • Contact Blizzard Support: If none of the above work, reach out to Blizzard Support directly. They might have additional troubleshooting steps or information on the progress of native M1 support.

Community Resources:

  • Keep an eye on the Blizzard forums and official news channels for updates on M1 support.
  • Check online communities and forums for potential workarounds or solutions discovered by other users.

It’s important to be patient: While it’s frustrating, these compatibility issues are common with new hardware. Blizzard is actively working on a solution, and hopefully, we’ll see native M1 support soon!

Hi guys,
any update on this? I am going to buy the new Mac mini4 and hope SC:RM can run natively as soon as possible…
