Temporary outage of Battle.Net services

Hi. I haven’t played SC2 for a few years and had to switch to using the mobile app authenticator to do anything. I can log into Battle.Net and launch SC2 from there but I keep getting ‘Temporary outage of the Battle.Net service’ error despite the fact I can log into Battle.Net without problem and I can enter my password fine when prompted within SC2 itself - it then also prompts for approval from the authenticator app, which is when it claims to have a temporary outage. I have checked the latest topics and cannot see Blizzard announcing any outages at this time. Additionally, if I choose ‘offline’ mode I get a window saying I need to have the whole game installed, which I have, I need to be authenticated with Blizzard, which I’ve done with Battle.Net, and I need to have at least one account in SC2, which I must have because I’ve been playing it for years and never deleted any accounts.
I checked Win 11 settings for games allowed to run and allowed through the firewall and Blizzard launcher is listed and I specifically added the Battle.Net and Battle.Net launcher exe’s as well, but still can’t run the game.
This is very frustrating and any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Same as Drackya; I haven’t played for years. Felt like replaying SCII all the way through. Keep hitting this ‘temporary outage, try again’ issue (which feels very much like a ‘something has gone wrong but we can’t be bothered to give you enough information to fix it’ error).

I’ve tried several times over the last few days, but same ‘temporary outage’ issue.

I’m (currently) still on Windows 10.
