The game crashes when I enter a network game

The game crashes when I enter a network game. I have a new computer, with all OS and driver updates.

I have already read topics with typical solutions to a similar problem including from this topic: here:

  1. I have made sure that my computer meets the system requirements.
  2. I don’t run background applications after my computer boots.
  3. I ran the recovery tool to repair any corrupted files if there were any.
  4. One Drive has been removed from my computer.
  5. I checked that my operating system is up to date.
  6. I checked my video drivers - they are up to date.

This is not a temporary problem, it has been haunting me since the beginning of the year, when I bought my new computer. And before that, instead of a crash, there was another error - “An error occurred while connecting to the game, try again later”.

I can’t believe that I haven’t been able to play my once beloved game for many years. And the developer can’t offer anything other than the standard replies - check your drivers and restore the game.
