The game server timed out when creating a game

really lame indeed.

Blizzard you take way too long for this blocking issue.

its the whole game thats screwed, 2v2 3v3 4v4 sort it out for god sakes

Same issue here. Switched to Americas region and can suddenly sometimes start games, but can’t find the maps i want to play :frowning: been going on for several weeks now. this is just silly :frowning:

I think it works (custom campaign) only during before noon everyday (UTC), after that it stops working… Seems like very silly thing here, not happy that had plans to play some StarCraft II during this time. :frowning: :frowning_face:

Gotta love modern gaming, I can’t even play solo with that mess.

I’ve been uninstalled and installed over 10 times now the game…I can play one game then boom get the messaged the game server timed out ffs what’s happening ??

Here’s some pointers Blizzard:

  1. Setup your performace test environment to execute tests at scale
  2. Identify errors in client
  3. Fix errors

Shouldn’t take longer than one iteration.

I can confirm that this method works, the only thing different is that: even if you force close the updater once, it will still automatically run itself once every half a minute, so before you find a game, you have to keep closing every updater that opens itself in the task manager, all the way until you start a game.

very hard to find team machtches with this bug!

This is the beggining of the end of star craft, no more support, no more game, they will make us impossible to play so go away by ourselves, is tragic, but they will not do anything.

n so… I can’t believe a professional company like Blizzard Entertainment could come to this. If this is how its going to be I can no longer support a company that just ditch products. I will be thinking twice when purchasing their products.

It’s a cynical view but is this ‘bug’ an ideal way to to kill the game & community without having to say it’s all over?

It’s just painful enough to queue in so users get fed up. Give it a few weeks and enough people will have moved on to reduce hosting costs and bring forward any scaling down in the pipeline.

I love the game and the passion the community has for it. Like most people I buy the warchests to support the game and prize pools because I want to keep playing into the future.

Please fix this bug quickly and be honest about it in the resolution notes - we’re only human too, and I know how keen the remaining devs are at Blizzard - you’ve created a brilliant title, please support it as it deserves.

Please fix these bugs with joining lobbies at least.

There is another problem all match history has an error while trying to view the match history of a played match.

Please Blizzard I beg you. I wanna play with my friends some 2v2, 1v1, 3v3… faster, for now i need to wait like 15 minutes for all players to join my lobby.

What happened exactly ? from my point of view, servers that saved the match history does not work anymore so I think those servers were a must in helping the lobbies.

I keep getting those timeouts everyday. Sometimes even like 20 in a row but from time to time it happens to find a team game.
But the way how @Blizzard handles that is terrible.
Does anyone know (I’m not a law expert) if there are any legal ways of having them to fix this issue? I paid for the game and now it doesn’t work which is not what I paid for…
Would be nice to let their shareholders know how they treat their clients.
We could start by throwing some social media hate to draw attention to it.
If sc2 dies they die too. For Aiur!!!
