Why is it, that we are in the year 2025, and we still don’t have ultrawide support for Starcraft 2, but we got it for a much older game like Warcraft 3.
I mean, Starcraft 2 came out all the way back in 2010, and in 2020, ultrawide monitors was starting to become a more and more common thing for a lot of people to have, and now 2025, I don’t think I even know a person that is a average gamer, even those with families and small children, have ultrawide monitors.
And at this point, the lack of ultrawide support for Starcraft 1+2, and even Heroes of the Storm, is becoming quite embarrassing, especially from a company as large as Blizzard.
I cant even enjoy my self in the campaign, due to the game being so ridiculously stretched out, and the mouse movements being wonky as well from it.
And the worst part? I found a potential fix that FORCES the game into ultrawide, but the kicker? It come with the risk of it being registered as a third party software, that could potentially flag my battle.net account and get me banned, which is just great over all, there exists a fix, but I could lose my account from it.
