PVP exp award for a maxed minis team

Hello,

I have a team of minis which have full exp.
I play a PVP match and win it.
No energy is awarded (example: when buying exp tomes for maxed minis)
No exp is awarded for other minis in the deck.

Question: is this the intended behavior?
