🌱 [A] Thunderstrike <Tea & Therapy> welcomes the Weird, The Wild and The Wonderful

Hi there, and thanks for clicking on this.

I’m old. Like… seriously old.

Yet somehow, I keep coming back to this game. And worse, I keep trying to build the perfect social guild (at the cost of sanity and hair).

But here’s the thing: there’s something magical about finding people who still love a 20-year-old game. It hits different. It’s cozy, fun, and feels like home.

Most guilds throw “social” on the label but still act like a raid-logging factory. Very few actually know how to create a genuine social community — or realize what a game-changer it can be.

Me? I’ve done it all. Raiding, PvP, min-maxing, you name it. Now, I mostly just enjoy messing around, being silly, and hanging out on Discord. The goal is simple: good people, good vibes, and good times. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy min-maxing, but I don’t throw a tantrum if things aren’t perfect.

If you’re looking for a guild where people come first and purple pixels come second — you might just love what I’m building here.

I’m taking it slow, giving it the care it deserves (and letting my hair grow back from the last guild I ran during lockdown).

This is a discord community that welcomes all*. Whether you’re in a guild or not, you can be part of this regardless.

Interested? Hit me up:

*there is a small interview process. More like a chat to ensure we’re right for each other. Thanks!

I was playing classic hardcore as a disc priest healer, usually only hitting my lower ranked heals every fifth second during dungeon runs. Alas, the thrill is still present and I am enjoying myself, despite resisting the occasional urge to wand another pack into the face of my tank. One day this all changed. I met a paladin tank, high on confidence and packed with plenty of ability - real recognized real as they say, and we started getting comfortable in dungeons a bit over our level range. When this excitement dulled out, the insanely skilled and adrenaline dependent paladin continued to raise the bar for our dungeon pulls. 2 packs, 3 packs, 4 packs, 5. Cruising through the game with DPS bystanders frequently alerting us to our apparent death wish, they saw crazy, but to the thrill of the two adrenaline junkies, they deemed our crazy was good. We established a small group of likeminded individuals, and started planning dungeons ahead of time, so we could all be available. This is when our adventure took us to the Sunken Temple, and our first run through a breeze. The second day talks are heavy with the Black Rock Mountain, WE WANT TO GO! Despite healer being 48, we all feel comfortable that we’ll be okay venturing into the deeps of the mountain. Albeit this theory was never tested, because, in a chase for adrenaline we exaggerated our abilities on these hexing trolls in the Sunken Temple, which became the final resting place for Tayuvira, RIP.

Despite this unfortunate ending to our adventure, the feeling of fellowship was so strong, that once the initial grief had lifted, I found my way back to this crazy paladin tank. Not because of his ability, but because of his vision for a community beyond min-maxxing and progress. Hell, potentially beyond the realm of Azeroth.

You might be like us, and just want to enjoy the game without it feeling like a secondary job. If that’s the case, I highly recommend you reach out to Tea & Therapy.

Hello there, sounds like exactly the guild I’m looking for. I doubt youre as old as me  Been in Azeroth since the very beginning. Now, old, a dad, and still love for the 20 year old game, im looking for a friendly group of people to enjoy the game with. Be it social chit chat, levelling, running a dungeon, helping eachother, etc.

No loot systems, e-peen showing or other useless crap. Just enjoying the game and having fun with eachother.

Would love to start the interview

Kind regards, Bekse#2911
