Pretty accurate description of home delivery tbh. I bet you also get ‘lazy shoppers’ who put in an online order for 3 packs of cigarettes and 2 bottles of plonk. They are the ones that infuriate me most.
90% of the time, we have regular staff picking the orders (sometimes i have to do it) and its left to me to sort out the most optimal route.

I want the updated outfit pieces but nobody knows where they drop. So, have to make do with the toy that gives the costume.

New customers last night.
Dundee (Broughty Ferry to be precise, Dundee’s version of Mayfair)
You can see the Marks n Spencer store across the street from her house.
One box of Persil.
One bottle of Famous Grouse.

That’s it.

And this was between a delivery of Inverbervie (A92 heading to Aberdeen) and Longforgan. (A90 heading to Perth/Edinburgh).

So rather than simply going down the A92, then joining the A90 I had a detour to drop off two items she could have walked 50 yards for.

And do you think she was in when I phoned ahead to see if she could take an early delivery so I wouldn’t have to detour

No. Her exact words.

“Oh that’s terribly inconvenient I’m preparing a dinner party and I need to finish off the canapĂ©s”

So she was delivered last. half n hour later.

I told her there was a crash on the road and I was held up.

Ive had to use my own phone before, but thankfully its only old grannies who cant hear a 2005 model Vauxhall van roaring up on their doorstep. I have a few customers who could have my phone number saved (if only i was still single )

I have kitten delivery for Aellas

I know you british propably dislike the monarchy due various reasons taxes and the like but I did find the series The Crown atleast interesting and actually well made show, Im going to binge its new season. Finished Gary Oldmans Slow Horses which was also quite good of MI5, I need a new show to tune in. Alot tasteful and intellectual shows from uk in general like one favorite of Morse, Endeavour or all time winner Downton Abbey. What can we deduct from this, britain’s got talent. Which someone once commented that if you live on an island you have to have good imagination. Related the writers from england

The Crown wasn’t very factual but I enjoyed the show. Well most of it they got a bit awful at making stuff up the longer it went on.

I am a big fan of the Monarchy though.

Yeah I only look these as a television show but if truth based then i guess its bonus but i dont think of it so much, just writing and show that i enjoy. its very good in my opinion and was glad to see theres new season to binge

I like british monarchy as a concept aswell but what comes to politics or any other related real life goverments Ill stay neutral it doenst matter anyway what I think in big scheme of things

Terrible guy irl though :grimacing:

the character on the show crown and on the movie Darkest Hour I kinda enjoyed those both, these are just characters in a show for me. i dont think else of them. Could just aswell be villain on game of thrones, usually those make most interesting characters over the goody goodys

Whats your favorite character btw from game of thrones Fenton? Mines Bronn so im definitely on the neutral alignment if any :man_mage:

Who were based on real life historical figures themselves for the most part :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Olenna Tyrell!! Sneaky wedding poisoner and all round acid tongued bad{redacted}

i got hooked on the writing when bronn had the duel as advocate for tyrion if i remember right, against the knight and won by kiting the knight near the sink hole and then shove him down in it, and everyone spectating gasped that it was not fought in honor etc, bronn replying that nope but he did and pointing on the direction where the knight fell, theres a lesson to be learnt from it im sure of it :joy:

I never had much care for the paladins of d&d ruleset either, they have too many honor codes for no good of anyone, its like the clerics that are not permitted to use anything but blunt instruments but then bludgeon opponents with it just aswell like any wpn would

I think Gary Oldman did splendid role on Darkest Hour as Churchill any case, his good actor, just like on the series slow horses the washed out mi5 agent 10/10 actor! :dracthyr_comfy_sip:
