🎭 GD Chat Room (Part 1)

The joke goes that “finlands summer is unpredictable” meaning weather in general when anything like this happens, its kinda bizzare it can be spring with no sign of winter on weather cast and everywhere covered on snow the next day with -2C. Anyway managed do repairs on car and hopefully nothing on its inspection soon. Cars made same year as wow got released

A ploughmans can indeed have apple and cheese, but also bread, pickle, onions etc

I take it you are near Woodhall Spa?
We went there last year in the caravan, cracking part of the world. Went to an air museum and watched the Lancaster start up and taxi, we were behind it and the noise was amazing! Also we were about 15 feet away from a mosquito doing start up - the flames coming out of the exhaust manifolds were incredible - scared the dog though!
Also, Lincoln - what a lovely place for a wander

Correct- im in Horncastle, a few miles from Woodhall Spa. It is indeed a lovely place. There’s a lovely 7 mile public footpath that goes from here to Woodhall

We hadn’t been to Woodhall Spa camp site before, would recommend it to anyone, there was a nice pub in Kirkby on Bain too, The Ebrington I think it was called.
Definitely need to plan another visit up that way as I feel we only scratched the surface on our first visit!

Yes, The Ebrington Arms. Nice little pub, ex motorbike racer Steve Plater lives in the massive house behind it. Next time you’re up this way, gimme a shout and we can go for a beer

Ebrington Arms, thats the one! Dog friendly too which is always a plus in our book as my boy Jet gets to come along too - he likes being in pubs
We’ve got all our bookings done for this year, but I hope we’ll be back up there next year so I’ll drop you a shout for sure

Yucky monday

Is there any way to get my paws on Baa’lial Soulstone or missed it completly and never have it?

Lovely hospital trip in a bit (for the missus, not me), nothing too serious though. And my youngest son dinged 18 yesterday. As it was also St Paddy’s Day, a day of Irish music (The Cranberries, Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore, etc)

Congratulations! Mine is a few years behind yours…does your son still have dinner at home on the weekends, or is he too cool for the family? I’m trying to get mentally prepared.

He’s on the autistic spectrum, lives at home with us. As for mentally preparing yourself, its pretty easy
