🎭 GD Chat Room (Part 1)

Nothing against christmas lights, songs or even door to door begging at halloween  I only dislike fireworks for what they do to the animals, silent ones would be great - I believe in Italy they have noticed that cows give more milk and chickens lay more eggs after silent displays than they do after a “noisy” display

Don’t forget that tomorrow is Christmas jumper day :christmas_tree:

How to get seeds? I got one from superbloom, one from frenzy, and one from world boss. Need two more.

Me too! I read that mob drops & treasure chest are ways of getting them but I must be unlucky :frowning:

You can buy them from the quartermaster if you have enough rep, or one of the vendors.

There is also that building near the main base where you can do orders to exchange for seeds.

Some you can just pick up on the map too.

I don’t have one, I was tempted to buy myself an Elf jumper but £40 for a jumper I can only wear for a few weeks is excessive. Got a Minecraft one for the little lad though so he can have his school Christmas dinner in his Christmas jumper for Christmas jumper day… I have a feeling it started as a charity thing so maybe just a UK thing.

They drop from a few different things, some WQs give them, you can get them from the seed event itself, treasures drop them. I have loads from just doing random open world stuff around the zone.

minecraft jumper is not bad and it can be wore through year with comfort so more use and practical

I have tons(somehow) on this guy, but on alts it’s ‘hard’ to get them. Is frenzy daily lockout?

related fireworks and lights, ppl could rent one of those glass igloos to go watch northern lights in norway or finland, i imagine would be more interesting than few fireworks thrown by drunken gang of teens at some market. i would go get this light show

I hate fireworks for a different reason. When I was young (7 or 8 maybe?) my father used to let off fireworks in our garden and I always had a friend round. One year, there was a faulty firework and, instead of going up in the air, the fiery ball went sideways into my friends neck. She was rushed to Stoke Mandeville hospital and was in there for months having skin grafts etc and was fine afterwards … but what really worries me is the hospital she was in during the 1960s as most British folk probably know who was volunteering there at that time … I’m not in touch with her any more so can’t ask.
But, yes, ever since then I’ve hated fireworks.

I wonder how Vandalino is getting on … hope s/he’s warm and dry.

lol like a phobia from childhood, i have same but spiders and same reason, stepfather drag me watch any he found to watch them eat their pray like it was cool or something and now everything bigger than coin gives me shivers, will use everything in my power to demolish them crawlers if see any around house, zero allowed :dracthyr_crylaugh:

Decorate 1st Advent and take them down on Saint Knut’s day.
It is written and may your christmas ham come out dry if one defies the holy tradition.

Can be the best weapon. I would run if anyone run behind me with a contaminated one.
