sorry if i ask here. im enjoyin the balance druid but despite havin read many guides i cant undesrtand the eclips and moon powers (ok i know is the main thing but

Eclipse priority:

  1. 1-2 targets: solar Eclipse + Wrath
  2. 3+ targets: Lunar Eclipse + Starfire
  3. if you’re using Incarnation (CD), you use Wrath on 1-3 targets and Starfire on 4+ targets (this also applies to your short CD window from Arcanic Pulsar)
  4. if the pack gets smaller (enemies dying) and you’re in Lunar Eclipse, you use Starfire until your Lunar Eclipse runs out
  5. if the pack gets bigger (additional pull) and you’re in Solar Eclipse, you use Wrath until your Solar Eclipse runs out - unless the pack grows to 5+ targets, where you use Starfire in Solar Eclipse

Astral Power priority:

  1. only use Astral Power while in an Eclipse; you are allowed to overcap (generate AP when at or close to maximum) to get into an Eclipse
  2. Starsurge on 1 target (or when the pack is close to being done and a new Starfall wouldn’t run its full time; but don’t spend all your AP to finish a pack with Starsurges, pool some for the next pull)
  3. Starfall on 2+ targets (if they live long enough for Starfall to run its full time)

Opener:

AOE:

  1. DoT everything
  2. 2x Wrath to get into Lunar Eclipse (or Incarnation to get into both)
  3. see Eclipse priority for damage

Singletarget:

  1. DoT the target
  2. 2x Starfire to get into Solar Eclipse (or Incarnation to get into both)
  3. see Eclipse priority for damage
  4. (optional) it’s also helpful to start the fight with pre-cast Wrath (2s before the pull) to get some Astral Power before the fight begins

the problem is. how can i create solar or moon eclips? clickin on “new moon power till i reach the right one?”

I think that builds up doesnt it? like if u are in solar eclipse u spam wrath until it changes tro moon eclipse and then u switch to spamming starfire until the lunar eclipse runs out. I dont think u can decide yourself when to switch it. And this is why moonkin is a bit complicated cause u want to time your eclipses, so that u’re back into lunar eclipse before the next pack.

Sinny basically got it. You start neutral and then throw sunballs or moonlasers until you get buffed for the “opposite”, then switch to that.

As resto I go into moonchicken form to use flap to taunt my enemies, for me its important part of the gameplay. That is the flapeti flap spell :smiley:

The youtube cat behaviour guides claim they are trying to teach us to also hunt and they consider us part of their pack but dont understand that we are of different species, dunno but its funny thought. :joy:

Yeah, very «looooook mum, i brought you this half dead bird, arent you proud of me??!!!?» :laughing: i dont mind too much when the prey is dead, but when she drops a bird that starts flying around or a mouse that yeets under the couch im not so happy :joy:
