🎭 GD Chat Room (Part 2)

Phew!
Then I don’t need to feel shame for saying I’m considering picking up kayaking :dracthyr_crylaugh:

Ye we got a few loyal padel practitioners here n there but a lot of privately owned arenas are going out of business here.

Me neither. I do love physical activities but I’m not really competitive so I don’t care much for sports tbh.

I did some competitive shooting years back but gun laws here are such a bummer that you have to put a lot effort in to it and get really lucky with getting into a good shooting club.

Rifles would seem fun but I imagine its cause its been so long since got to shoot and eventually it would become norm and tire bored of it after had put thousands of euros on permits and ammo and gun and hop through hoops to get lisence to go on range and fire something. Ppl living on country have better reason owning firearms than me anyway and do hunting on their living areas that affect them when theyre taking part of control amount of some species like mooses and deers that wander to roads etc.

Canoe would be something that interests too, could be easy to fish from it and haul short distances, but I dont have place to store one, I watched this some canadian vloger who bought canoe for 100$ and patched few holes on it with some plaster and duct tape and now does youtube vids with it on their backcountry, but the dude also lives in city and drives hundreds of kilometers for those destinations, burns the amount on gas what he saved on the price of the canoe, cant say its practical but got me thinking if would be possible to get one too :dracthyr_hehe:

Storage, transportation. Need place to store something that takes 3-5m space and vechile that can transport such on its roof. Either that or joining some kayaking/canoe club with yearly membership pay and use their equipment. Everytime I go through these options I get overwhelmed and drop it for while till next summer thinking it again

Time to create sets outside of the trial so that you can use them without stressing :dracthyr_comfy_red:

I take mogs seriously, even buy store mounts to match them to look this beutiful, mogs are arguably the most important aspect of the game

It is a cute mount. I just can’t unsee how the characters are motionless on mounts while riding foxes for some reason

I love how these now also dragon fly, press space in town and white wings ascend from the sides and liftoff :dove:

Oh, right, most dragonride now. I really want to try stuff out :dracthyr_cry_animated:

Try, some of the horsy mounts especially look really cool dragonriding. Warlock class hall mounts flying through air with burning hoofs and manes etc. Its something, I like the change :dracthyr_nod:

Will do if I get home before my sub expires

Yea its not same as head bobbing of goblin riding on wolf in warhammer were, I loved it but wow has better gfx overall and wow has good animations too :dracthyr_a1:

Yea storage and hauling is a big concern.
Tried an inflatable kayak which had me very intrigued. Fixes the storage and hauling issue but means you need to bring a pump and inflate/deflate it everytime.

That’s a good idea!
… Now I’ll probably stay up all night making transmogs for every possible theme but still :dracthyr_lulmao:

Loved that game!
Especially how they made tanks work in pvp and gave “rogues” a limit on stealth.
Playing a hybrid healer/dps was blast as well.
I’ve tried to make my ret play as similar to a disciple of khaine as possible ^^

That’s half my gameplay. Enjoy

Some packrafts have looked interesting too but theyre really expensive if buy one thats any worth of using 800-2000 euros worth investments. Its transportable through bag in hand tho and can put trunk of car so theres that. Im intrigued by the easiness of one, with a electronic pump you connect to cigaret lighter on car you also fill it in minute without doing nothing. I think its the investment for somebody who lives in urban setting and doesnt want to figure storage for traditional kayak or canoe.

Ye for sure.
Been looking at used ones but they still go up to 500€ if one want more quality ones.

It definitely will need to have space for bag and comfortable enough to fish from it so it will need to be bigger than the ones which ppl pack to their hikes in a hiking bag, so I think something in range of 200-500 euro even as used would be average if their worth is 1500-2700 euro new :dracthyr_hehe:

Priority for me is hiking with fishing secondary so I’m looking at the smaller ones with basically just place for the pack. I’ve seen people fish from them but things are cumbersome as they are with just the kajak.
Ye money is the big decider ^^

Ah yeah forgot you already had place with rowing boat to fish :open_mouth:

Yeah ive looked into some that take 5kg in hiking gear but it was still fairly big, you will need 85L bag I think if want also tent and sleeping bag in it. I currently own just 65L bag that i did my few 90km and 70km hikes in lapland. I dont see it would fit in that.

Ye I’m blessed with several family and friends that are crazy about fishing so I have access to several boats in both lakes and ocean that I can borrow in exchange for the occassional beer case ^^

But ye am also rocking a 65L so fitting a packcraft in it is a no go :/

Folks have empty spot on harbors docks that came with their house but they dont use it. I should just fetch rowing boat from someone to it thats advertised as free if come get it and use it :dracthyr_hehe:
