šŸŽ GD Chat Room (Part 5)

can be done on follower mode

Couldnt see the option, ill look for it later

Edit. Found out what the issue was.

Read the quest log Soul ya berk.

Eco Dome Adani, NOT Tazavesh market… Cool, means I can just BDK it solo on normal.

OK just done it. Still hate dungeons as end of storylines however.

Maybe one week Blizz will do a cat themed one xD

Maybe it’s a cat with toothache so his face has swollen? (and his ears have fallen off)

Did you know that frogs and toads have no eye socket muscles so whenever they swallow food they have to close their eyes to stop their eyes from dislocating themselves by popping out the skull?

Another fun fact, they are some of the few animals where the tongue is located at the front of the mouth and also has two muscular flanges at each side which act like fingers, much like the same way we grab things with outstretched fingers and pull towards the palm. The tongue also heavily lubricates the food before swallowing as they have no teeth and swallow whatever goes into their mouth whole.

Soulfact for Reset day.

Frogs swallow with their eyes thats why it looks they close their eyes, they literally push the food down with their eyes, they use their eyes to swallow by retracting their eyeballs into the roof of their mouths to push food down their throats. It’s mad world and nature is amazing

I’m not fan of mindless action either there has to be some story or otherwise cinematically interesting like dunkirk is like work of art and eye-catching landscapes through whole filming.

From recent I found interesting this Number 24 named norwegian film from netflex of their resistance movement against germans on the brink of ww2 and another I found good were the latest all quiet on western front.

Same with band of brothers and the pacific, theyre more about some story instead of just pew pew action type thing. Good shows and cinematically interesting directing and writing.

I’m thinking of seeing warfare next looks like rotten tomato is ranking it high 93%. This latest norwegian film number 24 I watched surprisingly looks to be 100% on this tomato meter, I also thought it was good but surprising to see the ā€œinternets most critical criticsā€ ranking it max, people gave it 95% too on popcornmeter :joy:

Warfare was pretty neat. Not much of a story in traditional movie sense (without spoiling it) but it was filmed in a pretty interesting way.

The Outpost was quite good too if you haven’t seen it.

It’s more that the setting isn’t really my cup of tea, there are some exceptions like full metal jacket, warfare and all quiet on the western front that you mentioned, I haven’t seen the new netflix adaptation, we read the book and watched the black&white movie at school.

Also the credits track was a great choice, Alex Garland seems to be a big fan of Low and GY!BE.

Ok thanks I’ll bookmark it, the name doesnt ring a bell so I dont think I’ve seen outpost but we have a lot in common taste so I’ll give it a try. I have to see warfare too.

Is a classic and the joker and the sgt. animal mother are arguably best characters :cat:

Sgt. Animal Mother is a single minded beast that when given a task proceeds to execute orders till the task is completed, his a man on a mission :joy:

Netflix’s all quiet have an amazing opening! The rest of the movie I barely remember so it probably wasn’t too impressive x)
But that opening though!

Huh, that didn’t register with me at the time so I had to go back and check. And ye, you’re right!

More traditional war movie I’d say but it also has a lot of focus on the everyday and the fubar -ness of that entire conflict, very reminiscent of Generation Kill.

Follow my tracers! Engage those buildings, engage, engage!

Doing his captain america with an bayonet out attacking empty airfield buildings, like an rambo :joy:

WHY IS IT 20 DEGREES IN SEPTEMBER?? I live in the arctic circle, it’s supposed to be chiller temps now. Doesn’t help that I have a nasty cold, body working overtime trying to sweat out some demons or something… Ugh!

Could not agree more, I already ditched A/C thinking summer was over. Then this week we have 24-25C monday-thursday, next week it ends we go back normal to 18C and rain. I have no need for any weather that goes over 15C. Already waiting winter and snow anyway to go skating and doing all fun stuff.

It’s wet here and keeps raining. Wanna come visit?

I’d love to! Maybe not now when Im full of germs though :microbe:
