💗 Which TWW Zone has your Heart?

As with many others for me it was Hallowfall, the zone, the quests, the story. The way it goes from light to dark and back.

Brilliant, loved it.

Liked Hallowfall the moment I entered and the impression stayed. Also the whole northeastern coastline of Isle of Dorn is fantastic accompanied by great music.
I don’t dislike the rest of the Isle of Dorn it’s just that this particular part is more impressive.

Ringing deeps. Beautiful music, heavy machinery earthen and kobold candles. The green areas and light falling through also makes it amazing.

None tbh.
I was hoping for a more Deepholm -esque style on the underground zones but they all fell short imo.
Harrowfall is probably the best but not by a lot and they all suffer from the same problem as the zones in the last couple of expansions where all the colors are really washed out and they hide everything behind that awful blue distance filter.
With the landscape being mostly mountain, dirt, grass and large open spaces the view most of the time is just a mash of bland, blue hinted grays, browns and greens.

Hallowfall is my fav

Mmmmhhh… Even though I like Hallowfall - I mainly like the inhabited areas of that zone. And that’s the minority of it.

While Isle of Dorn is the other way around: Not the biggest fan of the main hub, but the island itself is very nice and atmospheric and I like the smaller settlements.

So overal, I’m going to say Isle of Dorn.

None of them, unfortunately.

I love snow covered zones, as I’m from a country, where it will snow for a good 4 to 5 months of the year and I love sub-zero temperatures (shorts & t-shirt weather for me).

But, I hope the new zones we’ll see being added over the course of next year will be interesting.

I’m afraid you’re going to be waiting until ‘Last Titan’ for your snowy zones.

Probably hehe

I’m sure I remember watching a video yesterday of some datamined versions, and I’m sure I saw part of it being snow covered.

Maybe I was too tired and don’t remember correctly. I’ll have to try and find the video again and double check.

Seasons in WoW would be cool though.
Having Isle of Dorn be covered in snow during the winter months could be a lot of fun, for instance.

But that would mean they’d essentially have to make 4 versions of every zone (except the ones where there realistically wouldn’t really be much seasonal changes), so not likely to happen in the slightest. :smiling_face_with_tear:

It would indeed be nice if they added some new tech to apply seasonal weather into WoW.

Maybe in the distance future that may finally happen

I don’t dislike any of the zones, so picking a favourite is difficult…

Overall, I think I’ll have to go with Hallowfall. Especially when the crystal shifts to its void corrupted state.

Hallowfall is chef’s kiss levels of lovely. Easily my favorite and I tend to log out in Mereldar more often than not.

Hallowfall, closely followed by Isle of Dorn.

I don’t think they’ve ever quite nailed a zone like they have with Hallowfall, while Isle of Dorn has a sense of polished familiarity with some really lovely music.

The other two are still well done, but I’m generally not a fan of dark caves zones (I know that’s what this expansion is about!) so they don’t particularly excite me.

For me its the isle of dorn.
I just want to be there running around as an earthen.

Omg,I was saying exactly the same thing.
I also love snow…and there is so little of it…one peak here and there is not enough.

It’s why I loved the WoLTK expansion so much
