Is it that laggy? On Mirage I have no such problems, only had maaaaybe a day when things were a tiny bit more laggy.
Also, are you enjoying it otherwise, guys? 
Getting a Tortollan emissary today after who knows how long when Iām about to get flying anyway feels like an insult to injury.

I was fired up and ready to go.
Oh boy, I was in for a very unpleasant experience ā¦
First off trying to start the campaign but being too tired from work and not being able to advance as I wanted. Did 90% of the campaign today as I was off from work.
I always hated the DK campaign for a reason and this made me remind why.
Every time you think you are not going to do something terrible, the game asks you to do it. For example I thought I wasnāt going to harm the peasants and the game explicitly tells you to. Another was turning miners in to ghouls. Than killing hundreds of Scarlet Monastery soldiers.
For the āPiĆØce de rĆ©sistanceā I had in store: the task to kill a AD acquaintance of my character. After that I was designated officially as a monster.
I wasnāt much interested in reading the quest text as I had already done this campaign 2 times in retail (Thrall wasnāt the Warchief anymore, I think it was during Garrosh period for my BE and VolāJin period for my Tauren) and that bite me in the rear almost immediately.
In the quest for the DK mount I must have screwed something because after completing the mount quest I didnāt got the mount.
I searched my bags forever and the item mount wasnāt there.
I looked on my spell book, nothing.
Conclusion I ended up with a DK with no horse mount add that the fact I didnāt remember certain locations in the map that itās not marked like in retail and I was in a very frustrating walking around experience. 
I finally completed it and got to Ogrimmar only to find out it had Zombie infestation.
Got infected twice.
One near the valley of Honor and another when I was about to get to Thrall throne room. This time I awaited near 4 guards just to be killed faster.
The best part of this journey was logging out of Classic and logging in retail and opening the mount ā¦ only to find out I preferred the Ironbound Wraithcharger on my BE DK. 
So out of the 2 characters I was planning to use this mount, only one uses it atm, my Tauren DK.
I didnāt had to get this mount but I thought it would be quick and smooth.
How was I wrong ā¦
I went to bed with a headache to celebrate it. 
Did you look at your pet tab (itās a tab on your character tab)? Because thatās where the mount pops, as itās auto-learned.

Thatās only in Classic - unless theyāve added it to retail since yesterday. The mount is for retail, not classic to persuade us to go through hell for a mount.
Iām aware, but he said he didnt find his DK mount - and I assumed this was within Classic to get the Frostbrood in retail.

I had the same issue and quested through the entire dk starter without using the mount since I assumed it was bugged ^^
Is that pet tab an classic improvementā¢ or was it in wotlk original? I have no memory of it :o

Haha when I encountered this, after checking my bags and the spellbook, I did the unthinkable and pressed shift+P in classic. Lo and behold it took me straight to the pet tab.
Like those imps in Revendreth say, why would anyone walk anywhere?

Was the pet tab a thing in Wrath as I have no memory of it at all? I thought the first iteration of the current mount/pet tab was round about then.
