😞 Something WoW Related That Made You Frown Today (Part 1)

You actually can report people for that, it’s gameplay sabotage.

Public crafting orders with no mats and “i don’t have gold :(” notes.

Literally, the mats are about 1000g. Do 2x world quests for 600g each.

Idm making stuff for a couple of hundred gold + mats, it’ll do for my weekly quest, but I’m not going to fund lazy people. I’ll have my alts send me orders for BoEs that will sell on the AH instead.

I wish they’d revert the public order to require materials.

It needs to. The public tab is just full of rubbish orders that are trying to take advantage of crafters.

@Elahra @Punyelf good to know. Definitely going to report this behavior next time but there’s any chance I can report the guy today or has to be on the spot?

It would have been on their comment saying they were leaving, is harder afterwards.

Unlucky. I reported him for language but in-game sabotage would have been more accurate.

My guild disbanded last night :frowning:

oh. wiw. but why? internal discord or just ppl takin hiatus?

In a nutshell it’s the snowball effect, some announce they are going. then others feel they should probably move on. then people worry we will no longer have the numbers so they look for new places, then before you know it your team has a huge deficit that’s just like starting over and the officer team decided it was better to call time at that point.

Some didn’t want to do S4 either so are taking a break.

Oof. Had that happen several times. After ~16 years in this game, I am still surprised by how fast some people jump ship when the raids stop. People I’d thought were there because they liked the crew vanished in the night like we hadn’t been playing together for literal years. There is often less social glue there than I expect… but maybe that’s a me problem.

That said I can see you are in at least one community discord where it’s easy to drop into a raid on any night of the week you choose. You’ll be ok :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

I can understand the S4 mood though. The idea that Fated was planned from the start is a real let down. It would have been nice to have both a new raid and Pandamonium!

I think I’m on most community discords because I refer people to them. I have never taken part in them myself. They do some great stuff and are usually run by lovely people. Like recently I saw Dungeon Dojo are doing all sorts of initiatives to get people through content for Taivan or helping people get AotC etc. They aren’t the only community doing things by any means.

I’ve started the hunt for a guild today, a friend is going to join with me as he’s been guildless for a while too and we both want to get the rewards for S4. Pugging is a soul less experience.

I still think it’s an useless and unwanted season. But at least, this allows guilds to try applies without risking loosing time during progress. There is after all some use of fated…

I can only presume participation numbers from SL warrant it. But then again I played it for the rewards then took a break.

The other is for WoW tourists. Subscribe only to Fated because you get to see all the raids at once. Pugs are actually decent because it’s all old content they know how to do.

And any annoying systems have been pruned back to something sensible that humans actually tolerate.

If I didn’t want to maintain a WoW sub all the time, I wouldn’t be here for the first patch each expansion, I’d be here for the last!

I hate this logic, but I think it is true :pensive:

Fated was 100% better than another 4 months of 9.2. Absolutely it was. I still stopped running M+ and basically raid logged because I had all the mogs and I’d done all the dungeons. But it was still better than the alternative.

But as a design feature? Fated is an abomination. How dare Blizzard imagine that it is “wanted”? I would trade Fated in a heartbeat for a proper 4th raid tier.

And dgmw, Pandamonium looks fun - I will play it. But we collectively pay Blizzard over 100 million euros/dollars/pounds per month. It’s not an either/or situation. We could have raid 4 and Pandamonium. And we really should start demanding it.

I also think this is kinda silly that current expansion raids are already considered “old”.

It’s probably good for heroic pug crowds, but I can tell you that most of mythic raiders aren’t thrilled at all reprogressing harder bosses. When we had affixes, it was somewhat enjoyable to witness some changes. Sadly, we won’t have any affix this time around so it will sound like “Do these exact same raids with different scaling, they won’t be easier though”.

Buying legendary right away is neat. I ain’t sayin’ that as a warrior main :x

This became a theme since legion to be honest. One doesn’t like legiondaries ? They could wait 7.3 to get currencies so they can buy them. One didn’t enjoy bfa systems ? Here is 8.3 offering welfare acquisitions!

AMD and Blizzard pointing at each other blaming each other for system instability for Radeon users, pointing users back and forward to either post here on send an bug report via AMD Bug Report Tool.

I have done almost every achievment for “Back from the Beyond” , only “Abominable Lives” left. I have recieved 1 different quest for 3 weeks from Stitchmasters. 4 more quests left. Quests are weekly and random. I hope they change it to daily or give us an option to reroll quests in next patch.

Supposedly fixed black grotto netherwing scale acquisition still not actually being fixed.
