1 hour wait time for an uldaman dungeon?

As a tank it is instant for me. So no big deal :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

A hybrid class with a tanking spec is complaining. This is really a clown world  The only class who has my sympathy is the pure damage dealer. It doesn’t have a choice for the queue.

I queued 3 or 4 times as a healer and got in after 2-3 minutes. If you queue at dead times like middle of the night or during work hours not on a weekend don’t be surprised it might take time.

As a dps i had 5 mins queue at midday.

I found no issues whatsoever
 oh wait
I am in a community  I just had to wait for someone to start looking for a tank.
Easy peasy.

I left after 45 mins waiting as dps. 15 min as healer. Idk how can it be so long, there are TONS of ppl and not all of them all evokers. Seems that these events are very unrewarding for geared players so they dont go this inst.

Tons of them are DPS or healers.

3 min que as dps on Tarren Mill

The question is, do evokers need better gear? They end the tutorial at 239 I think, but the dungeon drops 278. So it could be that people are busy leveling and doing lfr for some drops, not uldaman.

LFR drops 265 though.

Literally got in after 2 minutes. Both times DPS, Alliance and Horde.

Meaning that Tanks probably get in the very second they que, and Healers in probably less than a minute.

If I play a dps that tanks ill tank it. The que is random sometimes it’s a few minutes or 15 - 30 as a dps I sometimes think the que is bugged so I leave join again and get a group in a few minutes. It will get longer as more people complete it.

Now it’s not just ques that are the issue here. I have joined as a dps before and the tank has left. So I just changed roles to tank and ran the dungeon in the time it took us to clear it a new tank never joined.

Same again last night a healer left after 2nd boss and I cleared it as a tank with no healer. A healer never joined in that time. I was a druid tank in moonkin gear. Like really basic gear.

The dungeon isn’t too hard and is very rewarding loot wise.

TBH finding how to queue for this dungeon may be a cause of confusion for some people, as its not something you could solo, but something you need to manually select in the group finder.

It should have worked like it does for seasonal dungeons, even if its just for 2 weeks.

Yes and No. Fewer player still relates to fewer tanks and healers. The smaller the pool the less there will be of any spec.

Your a clown.

If only players treated tanks more nicely

I waited for 30mins+ as a healer last night.

So how does the dungeon finder works anyways? Previously I was using the lack of healers by partying with me wife (healer) to get in the group, but now after prepatch if I we queue together as a group, we both wait endlessly and never get group. Once I leave the group, she gets instant invite.

I mean is the game now designed in a way that it prevents dungeon parties from being formed only because the healer is in a group with DPS who is obviously at the end of the DPS queue when joining dungeon finder? And the tool is waiting until the DPS is entitled to get into group? While makes healer wait along?

Nooo, but theres always been a lack of tanks and healers
now some of those tanks want to play the shiny new class, wich means really long queues
 its not difficult to understand.

But the ratios would in average stay the same
 so same queue time :man_facepalming:

See fewer people also means fewer dps in front of ypu in queue

The bottleneck remains the tanks and healers, and evokers not having a tank specc increased the dps to tank ratio narrowing that bottleneck even further.

I just finished 2 complete runs on my Hunter and Warrior and they all got in less than 5 minutes. For my BM Hunter it was 1 minute showing on the tool. For my Fury Warrior it was 3 minutes.

Cheers.
