1 hour wait time for an uldaman dungeon?

Noticed this as well 1st time of the day que poped in few sec to few mins at most second time 1 hour+ wait time

Here’s a question:
I’m leveling 23 characters ATM from level 54/55.
Some of them can Tank others can heal, others can do both.
Should I queue as a Tank/Healer (when they hit level 60 and have the Uldaman quest) to help :grinning: ?
I prefer to DPS as I consider healing and tanking stressful.

That would make the queues longer considering they can’t be tanks.

I think there’s something wrong, I was in queue for an incredibly long time before just leaving the queue altogether and formed my own group. This was an issue with two of my characters who are already fully geared. I noticed when I needed to do that dungeon quest on an alt I queued and was assigned to a group rather quickly, as a DPS. There’s even quite a lot of people complaining about it over in the US forums.

A little experiment:
BM hunter: with quest, queue time approx 3 min; without quest 20 min, no group
Destro warlock: with quest, queue time approx 3 min; without quest 20 min, no group
Retri paladin, with quest, queue time approx 3 min

After this I decided not to turn in the quest, instead I queued again, queue time approx 3 min
Turned in quest, queued again
 at 52 minutes now, still no group.

So, it looks like the quest is the “culprit” here, or rather the lack of the quest.
If you want to farm gear/mog, keeping the quest might be a valid strategy.

This! I did the same experiment. Do not hand in the quest if you are planning to run the dungeon more than once.

Turn dungeons into glorified corridors like FF did and you’ll get more tanks. No routes to know when you pull one wall to another.

But no seriously, I went on my healer and a friend’s dps. No pop half hour later. I waited 45m myself as dps. No pop.

But a few days ago I was with same friend as a pair of evoker dps and it popped in three minutes.

Note, he had the quest when we had the half hour queue, I did not.

I play tanks. I wanted to play the new race. No tank spec :thinking:, so I gave all the arguments and made all the noise I could on the forums.

So now, I make or join premade groups without Dracthyr to do dungeon finder / m+ with. Might be salty, but it is what it is.

Next time, I wish Blizz will release a Class without DPS spec. :slight_smile:

That will never happen because doing world content in tank or healer spec will means its very unattractive.

Did it with 5 chars all dps longest queue was around 3mins are you playing mornings?

people test stuff in m+ not in normal dungeon
i did dungeons with lot of evokers
dragons everywhere i’m already sick of them :smiley:

Put a shield on and tank, it’s instant, requires zero skill to tank it either. If you don’t want to tank, enjoy your 1 hour queue or get a tanking friend run it with you.

I will just enjoy my instant queues.

Yep exactly. I did not turn in the quest on my warlock and the que pops almost immediately every time.
