nah nah this is fake. I got the inside track on how this will go down.
anduin will visit kalimdor on a peace envoy, after hiring an alliance merc company to bolster the disfunctional horde, said company lead by a now neutral John J Keeshan.
during a convoy through azshara, they get stopped by a man on the road. who else but lor’themar theron? sword of the sin’dorei out, grinning with a glinting smile. the lead siege tank orders him to move and he rushes and tries to gun the regent lord down but he cuts it in two with one stroke, felling every other siege tank, while anduin tries to escape on horse back.
keeshan steps forth to try and draw off the blood elf attackers that came with him using goblin-sindorei magic-technology. he tears off his fine suit into his shirtless state and draws out his azerite-frequency blade and cuts a bloody swath.
while anduin tries to escape with keeshan buying him time, his horse gets charged by an unknown assailant and knocked over. his royal escort tries to protect him but they both find themselves facing baine, wielding totemic machetes. they see who they think is the orchestrator of this violent ambush but before they could defend their king baine joins his machetes into a shu-halo scissor and decapitates them, kidnapping the fallen king.
keeshan attempts to intervene but baine just gives him a creeper-smile. keeshan implores to know why baine would do this…he smiles and says simply.
"Azeroth’s getting a mite too peaceful. Hows an honest warmonger meant to make a living thesedays? Everyone trying to shut down the war-economy… well I liked that economy! All im saying is Jack…

I kept vomiting over and over but eventually I got with it and accepted the new storyline and I really am a stronger, faster, more productive person because of it.
