Your last thread didnt work. This one wont either. AP wont come back. Pretty much nobody liked it.
I don’t think that’s true.
What big 3 players didn’t like was being forced to do world content (or stuff like torghast and whatnot). AP itself was fine; it just shouldn’t have been mandatory.
For me it was at least something that made WQs feel worthwhile. That’s no longer the case.
Sure, WQs in the Dream are going to be worthwhile for as long as I haven’t hit max renown. But after that, we’re back to the same old story.
I have enjoyed my time with this patch so far, but I realize that it’s going to get back to how DF has been for world content players since the start: You basically only have a reason to log in once or twice per week.
There’s a severe lack of solo world content across the board in DF.
Hiding that at the end of your post. Sneaky.
I’m not upvoting this.
It’s that, but also how alt unfriendly it was.
I’m playing on 3 Mistweavers, 2 Restoration Shamans, 1 Evoker and 1 Affliction Warlock right now. I’ve never played WoW as much as I do in Dragonflight.
In Legion and Shadowlands (skipped BFA), I was just playing a single character and that was it. I didn’t have the time to “maintain” my alts with all the BS required to be allowed to play competitively.
Fair enough.
I’ll never understand that. I just don’t like spreading my gametime around like that. I want to focus on my main. The character I have played since vanilla launch. THAT is my strongest tie to WoW and other characters are just fluff.
Having multiple characters allows me to play with all my friends.
If I’m playing with a “new” or “not very good” player, I can pick one of my characters where I don’t have a high rating already. It’s never good for a beginner to play against 2000+ MMR opponents, it can be discouraging because you’re obviously going to get crushed every time.
It also allows me to play multiple races. I like fashion in this game.
I was able to maintain 12 characters in Legion after the AP catch up, true not all had their BiS leggos (my main though had every leggo for all specs XD) but I was lucky enough to have them close to bis, the bonus talent ones mainly. BfA I was playing just one character for the majority of it due to Azerite gear farming, essence grinds, in 8.3.5 when they added the vendor for corruptions and essences I finally managed to roll an alt. SL idk if it was alt friendly or not I didn’t play it because I just didn’t like the game at all. In DF I am maintaining 4 characters no problem, probably could do more but for now these are the ones I like playing.
Yeah that makes sense. I was wondering why anyone would play more than one character of the same class.
Well for me it’s to ‘scratch that itch’. I boosted the dwarf hunter so that I won’t be race changing my main to dwarf anymore.
I like different themes/aesthetics for my hunter, but some of those require race changes.
Two of these words should never be used in the same sentence.
And “world” is not one of them.
I have ~50 alts, because different race/class combos and aesthetics but I only play 1 of each class actively.
ITS BEEN TWO DAYS! Mate Calm your ####
I just farmed all the bloody tokens pieces… mad fun just melting people from a tree
You are lucky i was not there to grip you down into the zerg.
But I would port back up buddy
I have 3 grips, 4 if i’m playing blood with gorefiend.
Lets just leave it at the port…
OP apparently didn’t bother to play the previous quest chain.
I think his point was why is Lady Manbaries here, but Malfurion is still in SL.
DF = 99% useless ‘do once and forget’ content. How would anyone expect otherwise from this garbage last patch?
WoW has become the game for the players who dont want to play the game. Hilarious.
Feels like the new zone is dead, haven’t seen many other players, even in prime time. There were way more people doing ZM and Korthia. Not sure if people don’t like it?
Which is explained in the previous quest chain about Minthara.
