I bet it will either be a green screen with Orgrimmar in the view, or an otherwise plain wall with tons of Horde flags and Thrall posters. 
I reckon it’ll be green screen with a background to make them look like they’re sitting in a nice, friendly tavern. Except they’ll have used the Lion’s Pride Inn in Goldshire so everyone will take it as a hidden message about what they get up in the game on the weekends…
In all honesty, any announcement (no matter how vague or anticlimactic) is going to be better than the months of nothingness we’ve had.
I suspect it’ll be a Beta announcement. I’d like to hope for a launch date but that might be too ambitious given how many delays there’s been with RL issues.
I am not sure where your nothingness comes from. I cannot remember a single other expansion where by this point so much information has been put out by Blizzard.

After the overcrowded MoP beta, let’s hope not.
A poor choice of words on my part. I meant “nothingness” in terms of the content drought rather than the SL Alpha info that’s getting published.

We don’t use GMT during the summer months.
Thyvene confirmed it’s at 5PM UK time and 6PM Central European
