I feel myself compelled to speak in his defense here⌠he didn´t say that HE has a 2005 set, he already admitted to purchasing his off the AH after the Unlock. And he does in fact have the âDrop Dead, Gorgeousâ achievement for having a full t3 set (Itâs listed under raids and not collections or feats of strength for some reason)

No, not going to happen for a set that is not as easily obtainable as most other tier sets. You spend 2,8 million gold on the Phylacterweave alone plus the gold cost for the Lamented Crusader tokens which are roughly 90k each on my server, and other material costs, while most other tier sets are dropped from bosses you solo.
If Blizzard really did this people would complain fiercely, and I would certainly be one of them. It hardly acceptable that we have to spend absurd amount of gold as we do to complete a tier 3 set from the goblin Zackett, instead there shouldâve been a Caverns of Time: Naxxramas 40 man which couldâve allowed us to collect the tier 3 sets from bosses. The moment the tier 3 sets were put on the Black Market AH they lost their prestige anyway, mostly because previously tier 3 sets were only obtainable during vanilla and The Burning Crusade, until Wrath of the Lich King- it showed you were an old school player before the Black Market AH.
Personally I think the gold requirement to craft tier 3 is a gold sink, to remove gold from the circulation and to reduce inflation.
We should reward all scarabs lords with another bug mount cos why not.
