If you need all these slots for proffessions and materials to craft stuff, you can surely make enough gold to get those 8 extra slots.
and 20k for 4 bags? on my bad economy realms they go for 1.8 to 2k a piece at most.
Which is 8k gold, which is nothing for the benefit of extra bag slots, if you need them so badly.
If you need all the bagslots you can get, than you wouldnt make a hassle of spending some gold on said bags.
Even then, the bag from said rare is unique and offers 2 more slots than any other bag currently ingame, so the difference it makes is laughable at best even with a full set of bags and the maximum current amount of slots.

I am using said bags ever since they were introduced into the game, because due to my proffessions and other stuff i tend to immediatly upgrade to the highest amounts of slots.
Should you buy said bags now? No, but with the rare bag just adding 2 slots in total its peanuts on the total bagspace you can have, no matter if you should or shouldnt buy said bags atm.
Some Vulpera also posted in the same reply that the bag economy will be ruined and 32 slot bags would be cheaper and easier to make come Shadowlands, so atleast there is that.
Because bagspace is something i value a lot.

And if said economy is ruined, cant you get the new 32 slots bags then for just 80 gold per bag and have 12 slots more than you have currently and just lack a 34 slot bag?
Still totaling 156 bag slots as vulpera vs 158 as vulpera with a rare 34 slot bag? Or you could spend 500.000 gold and get a 2nd 34 slot bag and even have 160 bag slots!
You claim your bags fill up to quickly, and you want a 34 slot bag from a rare to solve that issue.
You didnt max out your bag slots AT ALL with the bags you already own. So you can easily increase your bag slots in any way or shape and add in the 34 slot one just to have 2 more slots than me.
But if you didnt even need or want to spend time / gold or effort in more slots because: omg its so expensive, there is no need for you to complain that you need or want a 34 slot bag from a rare because your bags are always full.
And even if you would have maxed it out, nothing matters at all.
You will always find a way to refill those new slots and require even more slots.

Imagine a Feat of Strength rewarding a 34 slot bag.
That would be the worst feat of strength reward in years, or even in the history of this game.
Why is this bag such a big deal to you?
Why does it need to become a MAJOR reward for a prepatch event?
Instead of mabye a title / mount or pet / tabard. (there are so many issues with this prepatch event and you pick a bag to be your ‘‘point to be fixed’’)
But no, lets get a bag from a Feat of Strength from a prepatch event.

The issues I have with this event, when it comes to quest line and what not, that its jsut boring overall, is subjective to your thing. The bag for many peopple is the only thing thats an upgrade.
This catch up gear you ‘do’ this for… ya know, that 110 ilvl stuff withh pointless AC thjat wont convert to champion seals after event, ya know, for alts, isnt the end of the world. Its not even catch up gear for SL and is rather OP for first view levels.
I dont see how it would be different then a 1 time quest reward per char anyway.
