Who are we?
Ministry of Silly wipes is a casual raiding guild, founded in July 2021, and based on the Bloodscalp/Emeriss/Agamaggan/Twilight’s Hammer group of connected realms.
We are a social guild, who enjoy chatting and bit of banter whilst we play together.
We hope to foster a friendly, and helpful community of players, as well as an environment where players old and new can feel comfortable playing/learning.
We are mostly active in the evenings, though a few members pop on throughout the day at various times.
We have our own Discord, primarily used for WoW, however we sometimes play other games together as well, including D&D sessions held fortnightly; League of Legends, Final Fantasy, Warframe, amongst others.
We have also made a Horde sister guild on Agamaggan, for those who prefer to play Horde, and want to level amongst the same group of guildies, but wish to join us for raiding on such toons when the cross-faction patch hits! Players of both guilds will have access to the Guild Chat channel of our Discord and can co-ordinate in there, or our Bnet community if anyone needs help on either side
What we are aiming for
For 9.2, we aim to continue building on our raid team, and progress to achieve AotC together. After starting the guild fairly late last year, and struggling to maintain a consistent raid group due to people taking breaks and/or leaving the game, we didn’t manage to get curve for SoD. We currently have a decent team in the works, and I have every confidence that if people stick around, there’s no reason we cannot attain curve for this patch!
For Mythics, we would like to help as many people as we can, who wants to get KSM, to achieve that. We have many capable players in the guild now that our number has grown, and so if we start early, I think we can help many more people achieve such this time around.
Generally I also want to continue trying to keep everyone socialising and doing fun content with one another. We hope to plan and set-up fun events/activities to do, and prizes to be won for each, to keep the game interesting, especially for those in the guild who aren’t as interested in raiding and the like.
We are currently looking into setting up a PvP evening on the calendar as well; looking to be on a Monday evening. We don’t have many PvPers at the moment, but we’re hoping more people may be interested and join in with those who do if we make an evening of it =)
What can we offer you?
*A stable, welcoming community of players who will be willing to lend you a hand with whatever you need help with. So far we have been helping various people to re-roll and gear characters; push lower keys to help them build on them; and various achievement and mount runs, as well as raiding on the weekends.
*An understanding that real life comes first! We get that everyone has their own real-life commitments, and can’t be online at every hour of the day. We will work around trying to include everyone in events as much as we can.
*I understand that being on a low pop group of realms is not appealing to everyone, due to the higher prices of certain things. So we are trying our best to keep the guild bank stocked up with food/feasts, flasks, runes, etc. That we will need for raiding. Guild repairs are also offered.
*A focus on fun! Whilst we would like to raid and push higher content when we can, the most important thing is that we want to have fun and enjoy playing the game together as a guild! We try and schedule a variety of fun activities here and there!
What we would like from you
*We have players of various ages, nationalities, backgrounds etc. And so we ask that you treat everyone with respect! Having said that, we would like people to be over the age of 16 to join us, please.
*Although we have members from all over Europe, we ask that you have at least a good understanding of English, so that communication is effective during group content.
*Whilst we understand that everyone has commitments and can’t always play, we would like that you remain active in some capacity, even if that means only chatting with us on Discord (text or voice) when you can.
*If you sign up for an event, please make sure you attend; and if you cannot, then all we ask is that you let us know beforehand.
*Patience, willingness to help others, and respect for your fellow guild mates! We all make mistakes; please be mindful of this when we’re running content. Constructive criticism is fine and encouraged, just remember there is a human on the other side of the screen!
