And beffore sinec dawn of wow i failed to see difference between these two comapred to clear cut how it is now each feels and plays differently.
In fact I did play a survival during Cata and MoP, not on retail, but I mean, private servers do not cancel buttons to press.
I canât speak for PvP as I said above but I donât feel it to be so deeply different from the Mm spec to justify its presence right now.

I played a mix of surv and mm in all expansions (first time playing bm was in legion) now what patch was the private server on because that matters what tier sets was available because that matters.
Survival did not feel the same as MM when playing it.
If you feel fire and frost is very different then you know how different surv and mm was it is very close to that.

True, i saw some post about a shaman tank spec because you had the stoneskin and stoneclaw totems back in the day. Thatâs why i acually started this post.
It would change the game up and would add something new, would make looking for a tank or healer far easier than in the current game as well.
Enhancement was originally supposed to be a tank spec.
It got scrapped in beta but high threat abilities was lingering.

WoWâs bad design is literally driving players away, because ultimately - gamers want to play games. Not glorified progression systems hung around a combat system. This is what mobile games are for. WoW is a mobile-tier MMO, and I like mobile games. This is not necessarily an insult.
Blizz either corrects their course or WoW dies. Thereâs no other way. 2 bad expansions in a row⌠you can expect hype for 10.0 to be low. With Endwalker, New Worldâs future content and Ashes of Creation on the horizon, Blizz can no longer afford to rest on their laurels. Wow has to undergo a dramatic change.
In fact, this is what MoP did - action MMOs were on the rise, so Blizzard wanted to make WoW less of an RPG and more of an arcade MMO. Now, MMORPGs are on the rise again. So Blizz has to make WoW an RPG again.

Shadow priest apparently is considered a tank by Blizzard as well, since Mind Blast is basically a taunt while leveling

Your enjoyment of an MMO comes from the MMO having the funds to add new content, maintain the servers, etc. which will not be the case for WoW forever unless the game changes.
1 year and we have only gotten one content patch.
Blizzardâs main struggle is that the core of the game is mechanically empty - classes are vapid, gear is boring, so in order to try and make the game⌠playable, to try and make it an MMO where you progress, they have to invent contrived progression systems which make the game boring.
Currently, WoWâs game design requires a giant population for the game to even work. If the population continues its downward trend, M+ will have to be reworked to accommodate the smaller population pool. Your enjoyment is directly tied to others playing this game.
