Class Tuning Incoming -- 23 November

We’re preparing a tuning pass that focuses on high target count situations, based on data gathered from the Dragonflight Beta.

We’re adding reduced-damage-beyond-5/8-targets to a number of AOE spells, reducing the damage of a few spells, and increasing the damage of others with the intent of improving balance across specs in this damage profile.

We’ll be hotfixing these changes into the Beta very soon, and we’ll then apply them to the live game with scheduled weekly maintenance, which is early Wednesday, November 23 in this region.

Wow. I dont know what to say. In early alpha destro was hit by 40-50% for some reason and now is slowly getting buffed to it’s state pre that huge nerf. What was the point? A spec that will only do huge dmg once every 3 minutes, will never shine, that’s how destro is atm. No matter how hard RoF is hitting, it’s only good in pair with Rain of Chaos, but nobody will play that talent, because it is forcing us into 3 min profile. It doesnt fit in m+, hell, I dont think it has place in raiding either xD
(This is only regarding destro AoE, ST/2 target seems fine)

Well can you please explain to me and the whole community why we are forced to play melee dps (monk and dh and rouge) for being able to do some fun numbers

Why do you nerf fire and frost when arcane is simming for 70k+ dps on single target

Please revert the nerf to ignite!

Exhales relaxed in peace, because not using it in the first place

Buff affliction, said nobody other than affli locks ever.
