[With weekly restarts] Fixed a bug that caused tanks to benefit from roughly twice the intended amount of Dodge from the Dodge Rating statistic.
Developers’ notes: We’re fixing this to avoid seeing raid groups skew toward maximizing for it. This fix will not change your Dodge % displayed on your character sheet, as the bug was invisible to players.
[With weekly restarts] Reduced Algalon’s melee damage by 10% in both 10-player and 25-player difficulties.
Developers’ notes: We feel that the increase in pressure on tanks and healers from the Dodge bugfix will be manageable in other encounters, but this one needs a compensatory tweak.
Classes
Druid
Omen of Clarity will now always trigger when Faerie Fire (Feral) is used on a non-player-controlled target. It will no longer trigger from casting Gift of the Wild.
Developers’ notes: This change is intended to make Feral DPS gameplay more accessible to the average WotLK Classic player and resolve many of the design challenges created by “Bear-weaving” and “Flower-weaving” combat strategies. It is expected to be a slight buff to the best Feral DPS players around 5% to 10% depending on encounter, and a larger buff to players who were not employing these strategies.
This is so strange to me. I can see in the logs that I am dodging more than I should be doing, and this bug has apparently been in the game all the time?
Developers’ notes: We are making a follow-up change on the Omen of Clarity adjustment we made last week. We found the change that prevented Gift of the Wild from trigging Omen of Clarity was unnecessary, and will have a negative impact on Balance Druids, so that change is being reverted. The Bear threat multiplier has also been raised slightly.
Omen of Clarity now triggers from Gift of the Wild.
Sara will now receive a message on Vezax’s death that forces her to spawn immediately.
Developers’ notes: This should prevent the issue that a few rocket boot equipped players experience where it’s currently possible, if you run fast enough into Yogg’s room after Vezax’s death, that you start the encounter before Sara has spawned and results in a Yogg fight that can’t progress past phase 1. Commendation of Bravery is again available from Veteran Arena vendors: Argex Irongut in Gadgetzan, Kezzik the Striker in Area 52, and Nargle Lashcord in Dalaran.
Fixed an issue where the Heroic version of The Slave Pens had Ahune, and related creatures, set to level 80 instead of level 70. The intention is that level 80 players are to go into the Normal difficulty dungeon to fight the level 80 version of Ahune.
[with June 26 changes] Torch Juggler can now be completed in Dalaran, Stromwind, Ironforge, Orgrimmar, and Undercity.
[with June 26 changes] Completing the Trial of the Grand Crusader on Heroic difficulty (10 or 25) will now grant credit for both the heroic and normal versions of the achievement (Call of the Crusade and Call of the Grand Crusade) since both versions now share a lockout.
Items and Rewards
[with June 26 changes] Fixed an issue where some Tier 9 set bonuses were giving an unintended Critical Strike Damage or Healing modifier.
