Where is blizzard’s statement regarding overlays, recently this has been brought to light and so far nothing has been mentioned by anyone at blizzard. Do you intend to fix overlays API before next tier? are you gonna wait till people create exploits on mechanics and then ban them for using it? whats the plan here…

We intend to make changes to how the Advanced Combat Log is populated, in advance of Dragonflight Season 3, that will prevent its use in this way.

Just have to forbid WA & co, all of those assisted addons making every user of it to not deserve what they unfairly got (in terms of achiev, leaderboard, etc…) and we good.
I mean if you’re blockin overlays, which is a good thing, go further and do the same with all of the assisted tools making the game easier for a lot of players, especially “top” ones.
As long as its givin you any advantage and/or information you shouldn’t have in advance or shouldn’t be displayed on your screen => deleted.
It will calm down a lot of cocky people.
