We are a relatively freshly formed guild, though most of our 25m group have done the entire WotLK together under a different guild. Core group has been raiding together for a long time now (since start of Classic and further back).
Raiding schedule
20:00-23:00 ST Wednesday and Monday.
Sometimes using just Wednesday while clearing all raids. Currently clearing full ToGC, Onyxia and a select few bosses in Ulduar, using full Wednesday time or spliting raiding hours into short Wednesday and Monday runs. Optional 10mans (multiple runs, depending on signups) happen on off-raiding days.
We will definitely use both days (Mo + We) for ICC progression. In the long term, we plan to continue to Cata, should it come.
About us
Our goal is to clear all WotLK on the hardest modes as efficiently as possible and it has been happening so far. We don’t accept any misbeaviour and do not compromise on the human aspect of a guild and raid environment, but also aren’t going to wipe to repeated mistakes. Everyone begins at some point, which is fine as long as you strive to constantly improve and put at least basic effort into raiding (using text / video guides for bosses, knowing your class - not just basic rotation, but perks it offers etc.). We wouldn’t tolerate any elitist behaviour, calling people out for mistakes etc., but we also wouldn’t raid with anyone who would take an honest and polite suggestion for improvement personally. It is vital to bring your A-game, know how to use consumables optimally etc., but it is also absolutely necessary to know how to kill a guildie when the floor collapses in ToC. That being said - jokes aside, minimal requirements:
- Know your class and / or be open to discussion on improving
- Fully enchant and gem your gear
- Bring appropriate consumables (feasts are provided by the guild)
- Sign up early, strive for high attendance and be on time. Real life issues come first and emergency happens every now and then, but we want to know as much ahead as possible. Most of us is nearing or just entered their 30s, so we understand a lot, just require a honest communication.
We have been using loot council and will continue to do so for the remainder of ToGC. We’re looking into other methods of loot distribution for ICC and will communicate everything transparently.
Recruitment itself
Any class will be judged based on knowledge and attitude; we’re first and foremost looking for people with similar view of the game.
