Continuing the discussion from SP need nerfs now:

arms warrior will be next. blizzard never learns. if you want actual balance:

1. nerf the top 3 specs
2. wait 1-2 weeks to see what happens
3. buff the bottom 3 specs
4. wait 1-2 weeks to see what happens

chances are you do this one time and 80%+ of specs feel balanced. instead blizzard hands out 10-25% aura buffs while nerfing counters to the spec you just buffed - and they do it consistently. like i said, arms will be next. give it a month.

the above is what i said about 20 days before they buffed arms through the roof and made them top tier for the rest of season 1. even though it reads like it could apply to right now, its actually from October 2024.

yeah its gonna get cut in half, probably along with frost mage and WW. what people don’t realise is that arms feels just as disgusting imo. i’d argue its better in a lot of ways and worse in only some.

because of how off the ball they are with balancing i can see this next balance patch being their last and them leaving arms the way it is and it just becoming an arms warrior patch.

the above seems like it could have been said today but its actually from a month and a half ago… yet it could also apply to 8 months ago in October… and it can probably apply again a year from now. I don’t link my own posts to showcase how much of a genius i am at predicting the future, i link them to showcase how predictable Blizzard’s terrible balancing is.

i log on this game and play my warrior for 1-2 weeks every few months and that is enough for me to understand that arms is going to be overtuned because its really easy to understand. all you need is arms to do good damage, which it does, and to have high uptime, which it currently does. you remove one of those and you’re 1 balance patch away from an OP spec, which means the second you have 1/2 of the secret formula, you can just predict immediately that they’ll make arms OP within 1-2 months - and you can do this consistently since at least Shadowlands.

blizzard somehow doesn’t understand this formula and thinks nothing will happen 2 months down the line when you decide to buff arms by 20% or 30% or 15% or 10% because they’re struggling with uptime into double frost mage shuffle lobbies. legit clockwork, every season, a couple specs get these enormous aura buffs of 20%+ and then 1-2 months later they’re like 1000 degree knives through hot butter.
