Ban people without subs from posting on general forums

As the title say’s why should people who do not paye for wow have access to the general forum only for them to spread negative views.

Did you read title and post ? I am talking about General forums here.
Did i say anything about US or subs there ?
To post on wow forums i believe you need an active sub .

Don’t get like that with me. You are suggesting it goes back to how it used to be, when I couldn’t post on all the US forums. If a ban on inactive accounts posting occurs in the EU it will happen in the US too.

This is a stupid idea, not you OP but the idea. Lots of active accounts post negative things too.

If you want to post on the US forum paye a US sub.

Thats abuseing the system the forum is about debate . But in my view only people who paye should have a say.

The OP is right, I to get annoyed to see that the people which haven’t played for a longer time and which are out of the touch with what is happening in the game currently come over here just to spread the negativity on the forum because they get influenced by those cringing streamers/youtubers like HeelvsBabyface.

That was how it was before on the previous forum. That was also not all that positive…

Here’s a tip: argument against them or ignore them. It is that simple!
Also, just for a few trolls you’d want to take away the voice of many others? Bit drastic no?

It is supposed to work that without a sub they can’t post. The new forum system seems very slow to catch up. Just like if you change guild it can take months to update unless you log out and back in again and force an update.

Unless there has been some announcement I’m unaware of (is always possible) a sub is required to post in General.

Why should they be allowed to post there vitoral over a game they clearly do not like and paye for .
Why should we who paye an active sub put up with the negative views always .
Some of them even gloat they have no sub and just bait other posters.
Plus on new forums you can not ignore them either ,we should have a proper ignore feature.

Why?
The true form of democracy allows everyone to comment negative or positive about something, otherwise if we ask only for positive comments we end up in hitler/stalin eras of controlled expression and 0 freedom of speech

Iam all for negative threads in a construtive manner done by people who paye for the game please understand that .

Why shouldn’t they? Nearly all games don’t make you pay to post on forums. I always though this restriction a bit silly. Plenty of people out there who are still keen on WoW that aren’t subbed.

Also why are you so dramatic? It sounds more like you think everything negative is bad… sorry but that’s not how it works.

If you really only target trolls/bullies: Ask of Blizz for better moderation. You will never get rid of negativity but they can sure be better at removing trolls.

The ignore option is removed though :frowning:

Get next level and use the ‘mental ignore’ ability. :stuck_out_tongue:
But yes, I wish we still had an ignore button.

To comment on something or vote on the something you need to be part of it in the first place. For example people which don’t have the citizenship of certain countries or the ones which moved out of them and don’t pay the taxes in them anymore don’t vote in their elections.

Clearly you have not read my post and just wish to have a go at me fine im ok with that .
If people want a say in a game that is sub based they should sub aswell thats my view sorry to disagree with you and i think you being over dramatic towards me .I have not been rude towards you unless you are not subbed and worried about posting rights.

I clearly stated im all for negative and construtive threads :woman_shrugging:

I have read your post, you didn’t convey your thoughts properly.
The only time you clarified your stance was when I was typing my reply, so I couldn’t see that you said:

Also calling you dramatic when it sounded like you wanted all negativity gone and all people without a sub gone isn’t really rude. I’m sure you’d observe people as dramatic if they have a rather extreme view on a small problem.

And yes I am subbed.

The fact that he/she was a part of that community does not matter to you i guess and you seek for a nice lawyer trick to find people invalid to share their opinions?

I do like them whine about BFA, i enjoy them as much as i enjoy BFA and have in mind the same whiners next expansion will tell us how GOOD BFA was compared to the next expc because they simply wanna whine. Have your fun with it, let them have their. Its a deal.

This what I posted doesn’t have anything to do with the “tricks” but with the fact how in the reality democracy works. The people like me are getting annoyed to see as I said some posters which are out of the touch with the game and which haven’t played it for some time coming over here to this boards just to spread the negativity towards the game, and some even enjoy in the trolling. And I think how that’s not good for the community as a whole and how its influencing it in a negative way. It would be the same as if the people which moved out of the certain countries and which aren’t paying taxes in them or contributing to them vote for their elections, this would be unfair towards the people which live in them and which need to face how the current reality works in them every day, they should be the ones which have a say in the matter how those countries should be managed and not the ones who moved out and might not have any connection to them anymore.
