Players will now be able to restore characters that have been deleted. Please note that at this time there is a 60 second delay between each undelete. You will need to refresh the character screen, change realms, or log into a character between each character restored.
Great. And pre-patch date? You’re leaving out the relevant information.
Probably July 31st.
Pre-patch launches in China on August 1st, which is their maintenance day.
If that holds true for EU, we should get it a day earlier on July 31st, & NA on July 30th.
Looks at undelete list
Oh. Dear.
The prepatch event start on 30th july in the US. At least that’s what it says on the beta.
So it’ll probably be the that date or the week before, to make sure things are running well enough.
Aw I thought it was the 23rd.
The pre patch splash screen talks about the event launch on the 29/30th as a future announcement, so it’s likely they do plan to release the previous week (23/24).
(The TGP event ends on the 21st so it’s unlikely to be any earlier).
They bumped the Beta from 11.0.0 to 11.0.2 this week, which likely means 11.0 0 is being locked down for a pre-patch release candidate - so we’ll likely see a date soon™.
They announced prepatch for China?
I think they are confusing that with it returning to china?
Yup.
Quoted from the article on wowhead:
“In a streamed press conference, NetEase announced that retail WoW service in China will be restored on August 1st, starting with The War Within pre-patch and launching the full expansion on August 26th alongside the rest of the world”.
For blizzes sake i hope it doesnt cause problems. But looking at history… i bet good money this forum will be filled with deleted alt threads
It’s not some way of cheesing and having more characters. Don’t delete characters you want to play.
In this case they will just have to wait until it’s back up.
