The Honorable Mention perk has been increased to a gain of 250% (was a gain of 10%).
Developers’ notes: This was not bugged, but before this change, Honor gains matched that of Mists of Pandaria. This bonus will revert back to 10% when Pandaria content becomes available on July 21.
Base resilience increased for players under level 90 to 55% (was 40%).
The resilience increase equates to a 25% reduction in damage taken. Previously, if you took 100 base damage unmitigated by resilience, you would receive 60 damage (the 40% base resilience accounting for the rest). Now you receive 45 damage.
Base resilience remains unchanged for player-characters at Level 90.
Human is the best for every class that can be human by far, it’s irrelevant what you rather be. It’s even stronger in MoP due to x2 pvp dmg trinket that also gives set bonus.
hey Kaivax i know you guys are busy, but is there a chance that PvE specific changes do not also apply to world pvp and duels (specially with timeless isle in mind)
Like TIgereye brew is significantly nerfed with the 60% healing increase missing in both content types
thanks in advance for some information or update in terms of this
Does anyone at Blizzard actually log into the game ? Because Horde gets outnumbered in Tol Barad 90% of the time — and I don’t mean by 5 or 10 people, I mean 40 to 50. This isn’t a one-off, it’s every single battle. It’s embarrassing that a player has to be the one pointing out something this obvious. And you know what? At the very least, you could give us the same buff we get in Wintergrasp when we’re massively outnumbered. That’s the bare minimum.
No, stun resist + stun meta gem + orc on-demand proc (that can be used with PVP on-demand trinket) is better for rogues than being able to take a chance-on-proc pvp trinket instead of the pvp cc breaker trinket. I wouldn’t be surprised if orc was better for warriors too but I’ve not played much as a warrior in MoP. All PVE trinkets are dead in MOP so human PVPers can no longer take one on-demand PVP trinket and a broken PVE trinket.
Not “by far”, slightly. If you care about glad and rank 1, go alliance. If you dont (like 98% of all pvp players), horde is just fine. People arent stuck at a certain rating because of their racials.
Horde is not fine because pvpers population snowballed to alliance side and it’s difficult to find partners for arenas on horde side. And if human was even slightly ahead for EVERY other race for every class, it’s massive imbalance, and now it’s not slightly. Having the op on use trinket with stupid short cd is just insane, especially for mop gameplay with burst windows that win games all the time.
?? Every pvper will have the on-use PVP trinket. Humans will have the chance-on-proc version with it, but the orc racials are better because not only do you get to reduce the duration of the most common CC in MoP you also get an on-use racial you can use at the same time as the PVP on-use trinket. You can’t take two on-demand PVP trinkets, they don’t stack.
Human was slightly better in previous expansions because it meant you could take a ridiculously strong PVE trinket instead of the PVP cc breaker trinket. That doesn’t exist in MoP as there are only a couple of PVE trinkets at the beginning that are equal to the PVP ones - none are better so humans only gain a random proc chance PVP trinket.
I wanted to reach out regarding the distribution of Arena titles in Classic Cataclysm Season 11. I’ve noticed that while many players have received their Gladiator mounts and titles, the lower-tier titles such as Duelist, Rival, and Challenger don’t appear to have been awarded yet.
I’ve also seen other players mention they haven’t received these titles either, so I’m wondering if there might have been an oversight.
I submitted a ticket and received a couple of responses, but they seemed to be more related to Solo Queue and team participation rather than addressing the specific issue with Classic Arena PvP rewards.
Could someone familiar with the Classic Arena system please take a closer look into this? I’d really appreciate any clarification on whether these titles are still being processed or if something may have gone wrong.
You have no idea, yet you argue. Let’s say allegedly there was this mop server I allegedly played on for “some” time, there you could pick your racials regardless of your race, every top player ran human racials for everything except druid and shamans. Like every, I mean 100%. Every druid had Nelf racials. The only difference was what shamans ran, consensus was that for resto dwarf is best, for ele and enh orc was.
People copy others because they don’t know any better. Was it a faithful reproduction complete with ilvl squishing?
You said mop gameplay has burst windows that win games all the time - what do you think helps that the most? A trinket that gives a randomly timed chance-on-hit buff or a racial that gives an on demand buff you can stack with the on-demand PVP buff PLUS a 15% shorter burst window for your opponents?
