How hard could it really have been? The game already has Christmas trees and gifts all over the world, so turning them into decor does not seem like an impossible task. I am not a developer or a game designer, but I have worked with 3D modeling in Blender and 3ds Max for years, and from that perspective, this does not feel unreasonable to expect.
I am genuinely disappointed that Blizzard did not add any new Christmas decor for the loyal player base that bought the game and the new expansion. Instead, it is the same enchantments and toys that we already have. At the end of the day, though, it is their game and their choice. Still, it is sad news regardless.
I was initially disappointed but as someone who is absolutely loving housing, I’ve already made my own and I love looking at what guildies and neighbours have done with theirs and nicking the best ideas.
Wouldn’t it be a little pointless / dull if we all had the same blizzard-issued tree?
Ahh but I was hoping for a nice, 3 item budget tree to plop down so I didn’t pass my max trying to enjoy the festivities…

Was really hoping for some form of decor since christmas and halloween are the perfect ingame events for decor like snowmen, trees and mistletoes.
