Known Issue: Low Framerate with Pet Auto-Cast

Thank you for all the reports about the low framerate issue related to pet auto-cast abilities in Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary. We’ve identified the issue and we’re preparing a fix for it, which will require an update to the WoW client.

New client builds are a bit trickier to deploy, and once deployed, the fix will take effect only after you next restart the game. Until then, the following workarounds may provide some relief:

  • The issue will happen less frequently if you do not macro pet abilities or /petattack into frequently-cast spells.
  • If the low framerate occurs, you should be able to restore your FPS by toggling auto-cast off and then on again for your pet spells.
  • If issues persist, a /reload or relog should get you back into a good state.

We’ll get the new client out as quickly as we can. Thank you again!

THX!!! works perfectly!

Sir can we have any input about boosted characters without class quests skills and no skills at all? been a whole week with a unplayable character.

Can’t get this to work for the life of me.

Seemingly just has no effect when I use it.

Cone of Cold are still bugged, it was on PTR in Arena and are still bugged on Prepatch. There is a 50/50 chance that u miss even though target are in front of you and there are many complaints on subforums and twich about it.

Many people have also caught it on clips where its still present after 2weeks of “supposed fix”.

Just woundering when this fix will be rolling out, it’s been 3 days now and it’s still the same.
