As many players noticed, Transmogs that were previously applied to gear were removed in the 12.0.0 update. This was intentional as a part of the transition from a gear-based to a slot-based system.
Although previously saved loadouts were converted to Custom Sets in the new system, it costs the normal amount of gold to apply the first Transmog to your character, even if you’re simply setting your appearance back to the way it was before. This was an oversight on our part; you should have been able to maintain or reset your existing look without cost.
With the 12.0.1 update before the launch of Midnight, all player-characters will be granted one free Transmog. This will be automatically applied to the next outfit created for each character. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by first-time Transmog costs.
We’re also aware that Legion Artifact appearances can currently only be applied to weapons with compatible weapon categories. We’re working to implement the Legion Artifact override options for the updated Transmog system. You can expect to be able to apply Legion Artifact appearances to more weapon types in the 12.0.1 update.
Sweet, can you ask the UI designer if the full black on abilities on cooldown is a bug or not? It used to be abilities on cooldown were vague and transparent while they recharged, now the icon is just black. GCD too. This for me personally is very distracting and ugly to look at. Would like to know if intended or not, thanks.
SInce we have your attention, please put out an urgent fix for Personal Resource Display. We’re once again unable to make it show personal cooldowns, and we need an option for it to tether to the character model instead of it being a fixed position
Gosh… what did you guys do blizzard… “shuts down the game’. UI changes… better… but not good enough considering the discontinuation of most addons that added vital functions to the UI that you failed to replace. Transmog resets on my chars cost over 12k gold in total… bit late to tell us we will get a free one on each character… damage has been done! ELVUI… by far a way better UI then blizzard will every achieve… not working… Some very wonky decisions on some of the specs/classes… No more CELL for the healers and no decent way to replace the funcions…
What is happening… are you trying to get rid of players or something?

Too late, I already gave my char it´s two transmog slots and paid the gold for it. To receive your free transmog, I would now need to unlock a third - paid transmog slot.
I can’t honestly believe this was ever allowed to go ahead in this state. This is appalling Blizzard! You should be ashamed of yourselves! It’s failure after failure with this company at the moment.
I refuse to set my transmog until I get my freebies.
You should just make Transmog Free. There is no reason to charge for it anyway.
Do the people that have paid gold get reimbursed for their first transmog too, for your ‘oversight’..? Or was the oversight actually intentional to sell wow tokens, and you didn’t realise the backlash you would face? - or maybe you did and simply dont care, because money is money. I think you should release the stats on how many wow tokens were bought today.

I loved that i can transmog two-hander into daggers or fist weapon on fury warrior, please consider removing the same obstacle for all specs and classes, so that anyone can transmog their weapon to any other weapon regardless of category
