what’s to be surprised about? This is blizzard, the greediest of all greedy companys out there.
The game is absolutly riddled with bugs and issues, and they still go ahead with trying to squeeze more money out of people.
(Yes i’m aware it’s different departments who deal with everything, but given the state of the game, it’s a bit of a slap in the face).

I was intrigued by the Trading Post variant, but honestly it looks bad on almost any race except for Zandalari, and even on them there’s clipping issues with the helm (at least on males). And the colours are a bit all over the place.
Would never pay money for a watered down version of it, I’ll pass.

Shoulders and belt are not worth 700
They previously stopped this practice because people were buying the packages purely for the tender and they said they were only going to be doing them as part of expansion packs.
The stuff they are wearing looks way better, even if it’s Vanilla graphics. 
As I said, blizzard are just extremley greedy. If it makes them money, they’re more than happy to go back on their word and give up what little morals they had left.
I raised an eyebrow at it too. I kinda want the tender, since I just spent all mine, but I don’t want the set that much.
I stuck the trading post one on my Zanda, did not like it on my belf at all but I’ve not tried on other races.

I noticed in the collections tab there was another colour variation, I wondered where that would come from and then … as if by magic…
I will have to see what that’s like next time I log on my monk

I remember Blizzard releasing an exclusive LE SSERAFIM skin bundle for Overwatch 2 in the wake of Blizzcon 2023, noting how it would be time-limited and once it was over you wouldn’t be able to buy it again.
So people of course went bananas and threw their money at it.
And Blizzard earned a lot of money.
And after a while they of course brought the skin bundle back again.
Because of course. There was more money to be made.
Their words on these matters don’t mean much, if anything.
I mean the ingame shop. It isn’t showing there.
