What to Tackle in The War Within Before the Launch of Midnight

As World of Warcraft: The War Within reaches its zenith, we're getting ready to turn the page to the next chapter: Midnight. Before your adventure moves forward, now's the perfect time to wrap up activities around Khaz Algar—especially those rewards and achievements that either go away or become much harder to earn once the expansion content update launches worldwide on 2 March 2026, at 23:00 GMT.

Good to have verification on Pruning the Princess. Hopefully I’ll manage after gearing up a bit on Wednesday :face_without_mouth:

wait a second

Official start of new expansion is 2nd march, and it is end of season 3, right? But some players will have access as early access. So if I understood correctly - They will be to get level 90 and some new gear and still get rewards?

Hope so. That’d be nice.

why are resilient keystone achievements still available?? This seriously undermines the effort of players who obtained them legitimately during the proper season. And rest of those achievements should not be obtainable too because they were meant to be available only during Season 3. This feels unfair and goes against the original intent of limited-time seasonal achievements.

The inconsistency is mind-blowing. How can you justify keeping all other seasonal achievements and Keystone achievements available, while specifically disabling the Let Me Solo Her achievement for Nexus-Princess Ky’veza?

It makes zero sense that players can still obtain Pruning the Princess in a group, but the ultimate solo challenge is disabled because the season ‘allegedly’ ended, even though M+ and all other Delve-related achievements clearly remain obtainable. You are essentially rewarding group play while punishing solo players for no logical reason during the same seasonal window.

I can confirm that the void schematic drops properly from hard Zekvir (very low %), can assume the golden one drops from the mech boss as well, but I’m not entirely sure you’ll be able to get the drop from easy mode Kyveza as Blizzard has stated in some of their blogs (text may have been edited by now).

You were able to get it on repeat kills in the first days of the patch but the pattern of comments indicates it has been hofixed to drop only from hard mode so I would discourage you from wasting time.

You might be confusing the RNG drops with the actual seasonal achievements. The issue isn’t about the drop rate of schematics, it’s about the fact that Pruning the Princess (the group version) is still fully obtainable, while the solo version for Nexus-Princess Ky’veza is being treated as end of season content.

If Blizzard is allowing players to outgear and farm group achievements right now, there is no logical reason to disable the solo challenge. It’s a total double standard to keep M+ and group Delve achievements live while locking out solo players who want to prove their skill in the same timeframe.

I don’t know about the actual season achievements and rewards but Kyveza’s schematic has been dropping on normal mode, on repeat kills (as of few days ago, but not any longer).

You may have noticed that their reasoning, logic and implementation of intended adjustments is all over the place and usually not aligned with their own publication. For example 2500 rating in dungeons gives an achievement but going up to 3000 grants you nothing.

They should explicitly state latest hotfixes so we don’t have to guess if something is bugged or had gotten changed overnight.

Blizz you have alot to tackle internally. So please get the game fixed, UI fixed, bugs fixed, Theme of the game fixed, Player housing removed before the start of Midnight.

You worry about your own problems, before telling us what you do.

Thanks.

Exactly. The fact that we are even debating this proves how messy this end of season rollout is. If Blizzard officially states that season content (like Delves) is over, then Keystone Master and Pruning the Princess should have been disabled simultaneously.

Keeping the group-based achievements active while cutting off the solo challenge for Nexus-Princess Ky’veza is just poor design. It punishes individual skill while allowing group-carried achievements to stay relevant. Blizzard needs to be consistent, either the season is live for everyone, or it’s over for everyone.

That would create triple the problems XD

I don’t have anything against putting forward prestige mount customization; while the previous two bosses fall over under a minute, many players will still not be able to beat hard Kyveza because of the shuffle mechanic.

But in a month everyone will be able to outgear and faceroll her. The problem still remains, which is infinite number of attempts combined with abysmal drop chance. There is no meaningful gameplay here. Going forward it should either be a weekly or daily chance with higher %.

Better yet, instead make it scale to player level, similar to the mage tower scenario. The difficulty won’t be ideal but fun and potentially evergreen content won’t end up in the trash bag so quickly either.

The game worked perfectly before they started working on play housing…

just saying.

So did it before M+, yet remove it now and you would make a disaster.

Its litterally like saying “oh, remove anything that was added after Vanilla, it worked perfectly before”. It has no sense to remove a new piece of content dedicated to collectors and Roleplayers. If its not for you, that’s okay, but advocating for its removal when it is aimed to cater at an audience who didn’t really have pretty much anything for them before is just insane. Expecially given how well recieved it was by the amount of builds, decor, gold and the likes that were invested into it.

remove it? you most likely would take away the people who fell in love with this bit of content and will likely draw them away from the game. giving people something and take it away after is not the brighest idea XD

Imagine if we removed everything from the game that had been added since Vanilla. How to kill Retail WoW :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

Fortunately it’s a very popular feature and it’s not going to be removed, even if some people are a tad obsessed with it’s removal.

I’m so pleased I can do the dungeons that I’ve been locked out of to collect decor, as they are in the M+ dungeon pool for Midnight S1. Can go clear normal and get my items with reset. :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

Not to mention it is just so obviously not going to happen

Man you must feel like an absolute idiot right now knowing you cried about quitting WoW for months when the game worked perfectly fine then.

Tww season 3 already ended. The midnight season 1 begins in march 17, doesnt matter to me atleast if some are there in march 2 when it will still be 2 weeks time before season begins.

The game worked perfectly after M+ as well. M+ was a natural progression from the how the game was.

Playerhousing just doesn’t belong.
