I looked up a bit of Zillows records. The company had quite the few lawsuits in the past, ranging from shady/deceptive practices to even data breaches and unlawful data sharing.
I really recommend against sharing your data with them. A doormat and some other decor isn’t worth your private data!

This was a really bad move by Blizzard and or the PR team. Expecting their customer base to link to an unknown entity and willingly give up personal information all for a lousy door mat.

I feel so disgusted by this. If this was free mobile game i would somehow understand this kind of practice, but this is not a free game. We pay for the game and we pay subscription fee. This means we are actually buying a product, not being a product. Right?
This service you want us to link our account to doesn’t even offer services in this area, we have nothing to do with it and still you, as a company, feel it is ok to try to convince your customer to share their data with them. Especially when they state they will not treat it according to GDPR. Shame on you.
And yes, i know i don’t have to get that mat (and i sure as hek am not going to). It just makes me angry to realize, that to collect decorations for my house it is not enough to first pay for the game, sub and then play the content - maybe even sometimes watch someone else to play the game, but to collect all i would actually have to share my data to some party that has nothing to do with gaming. Just makes the whole housing feel sour.
How about you just give this mat to everyone and if someone wants to go check your partners website, they can do it?
