This hostile land is host to Void creatures of all varieties. Everything here is hungry and ready to devour and consume weaker creatures for their power.

This sounds like a zone full of elites that requires groups - not fun. Hope it is better than it sounds.

While they could’ve omitted the dungeon journal entries from the preview, there was the potential risk that there might be spoilers within. At least it’s just the setting for the encounter, and we don’t know how the fight pans out.
Has someone tested this area during beta? I see a lot of void elf themed decor connected to the Voidstorm. Are these decor locked behind a raid? Or will there be a faction which will offer daily quests to solo? Based on the description this looks like group activities only?
I like the picture, let’s do it.

The Maw kind of encouraged people to group up too but I have no idea if this is the same.
I tended to go tank spec to go do my quests in the Maw at first when it was new.
I have had my fair share of grouping already. Go and troll elsewhere, thanks!
Back to the topic: does anyone know if we can get the void elf themed decor through solo play? Like questing?
i could do a party in the world here and there, i like that.
my idea of partying is dynamically meet and do something together that’s in front of us, and then part equally dynamically when our common need is satiated. that would be something for me. i dislike commitment.
it won’t be that, i’m sure, but otherwise i’m in to deal with a few elites also. let’s see it.

I just went with one other, I think we were both tanks just to survive. I remember having to be Prot for the majority of the expansion.
I just want to get on with stuff so tend to do most things like that alone. Not everyone is on at the same time.
Sometimes went with others but it’s a bit of a nuisance.

Okay, I did some research.
The Singularity is a regular faction with quests, world quests and scenarios (I guess like the Arathi Hallowfall). One can use a contract too and delves, dungeons, rares and the campaign will give some rep as well. That’s fine. It seems that the regular void elf items like bedrolls, crates, etc will be rewarded by this faction.
Voidspire is going to be a raid, there will most likely be a faction tied to it as well, the fluff void items will come from this renown. That’s fine, raiders need their trophies too.
Slayer’s Duellum - they seem to be a PvP-focused faction, they offer some rewards too.
Some of the void elf stuff will also come from quests, achievements, professions, etc.
Currency: Voidlight Marl - this is the same as resonance crystals in TWW.

You can make darker or creepy zones and not have them be depressing to be in or a literal torture for the player. Zones like Drustvar, Nazmir or Duskwood prove you can do dark and creepy without it being a place to utterly hate.

mmo only means lots of players online does not mean you have to group up, come on do better then troll all the time.

Im not wrong. Mmos should have group content as well as solo. Dont know why that’s controversial to “modern” players
