With the official launch of Midnight upon us, we want to take the opportunity to give you a sneak peek at our tuning and class update roadmap as we head into the first season of Midnight.
this gives hope and is disappointing at the same time ![]()
No weekly tuning passes until 17th?! Oh wait, itâs a housing expansion with ââwarââ being removed. DISAPPOINTING.
You understand that until then there is no content to do apart from leveling, low delves, and heroics (not sure about pvp). The real data that they will get is from the heroic week.
Buff havoc st dmg please ![]()
There are official tier lists for both pve and pvp and some specs are literally in a maw. I expected at least something on xpac release from a company that charges a montly fee plus sells in-game shop items. This is honestly giving me that picture of classic Blizzard that says: Weâll hype you up for the xpac, take yo cash, neglect tuning mid-season with the excuse of working on the next tier and so on.
You know what would be a great idea? If you had a test phase before an expansion launches, we could call it an alpha or a beta. Then we could invite players and ask them for feedback on the classes and then make sure that the classes fit both internal metrics as well as player sentiment, you know, before the expansion launches. Too bad we donât do any of that and have to tinker with classes after the expansion has already come out.
On a less cynical note, how can entire specs sit completely untouched for months with plenty of feedback from regular players as well as first world raiders and streamers, and then Blizzard has the gall, the sheer nerve, to post about paying attention to player sentiment? For some spec, itâs a bit too late for that, donât you think? Because we wonât get a needed rework until the next expansion, and even then itâll still be a gamble if Blizzard actually decides to look at it.
Unless done by blizzard there is no offical list its just hyperbole
In what way can you call the personal opinions of beta players âOfficialâ?
Youâve played all this xpantion from the start, and you know full well what class balance to expect. This post here is actually way more than what we received in the TWW release, and they seem to take a more agressive stance than back then.
I am more worried about the state of Ui and addons than the balance. They have done balancing for many years and we know what to expect.
There are no official tier lists but there are lists by content creators who played a lot on beta, i see no reason no to trust them
with the last class tuning being the worst in wow histoly as claimed by some, this article was to give players hope and something to expect, i find it disappointing though to play new expansion on a under performing class/spec for a month, hard to enjoy
Way too low of a sample size to make adequate balancing changes.
So please Blizzard stop with the beta phases and testing, you donât use it all, if you have to do 4 weeks of tunning, just improve your tools to measure and balance. This is exhausting.
Can you fix some egregious buggs and glitches before speaking of proper tuning?
Blood DKâs Sanâlayn vampiric strike still does 30% damage less than Hearstrike, this is has been like this for 3 freaking months and you canât fix even such a simple and obvious glitch.
Your bias towards one specs, who receives update almost weekly, while neglect of other specs, who languish for months is truly irritating.
Okay, so I will suffer and be one of the four people who is playing Arms warrior to give you data (cause for some reason you think its good if you keep nerfing it). Please donât ban me if people report me for griefing, thanks.
Content creators have their own way of thinking and some biasedness actually exists .I will give you an example .this content creator claims that guardian druid is performing even well then brewmaster monk .but the reality is different .
Best is to always use your own brain and make sound judgements because your own experience there is no alternative to it.
So the usuall classes/specs will be broken both pve and pvp (for many years now).
Thx.
Its 4 weekly tuning passes once they get the data from heroic raid week / mythic raid and dungeons. What do people want?
Tier lists are for specs pushing title range and mythic raids. Cutting edge content, none of this is available at launch so irrelevant
. Every spec crushes content avaliable at launch. Wow players really lack any logical thinking.
That is pretty fking lazy if you ask me, we have beta for a reason, you have stuff like guardian druid who is competing with top dps specs in damage as a tank spec, you have tank specs who are doing healer dmg, alot of people donât have the time to level up every single class to try to adapt to the incompetency of blizzards balancing team, Would be nice to get the nerfs/buffs in advance to know where we stand We know they are coming just not in which length
That is your very casual lfr mindset and thatâs fine but your opinion is insignificant since you are a very very casual mount farmer, People already spent months in beta testing we donât need release of anything to see that for example guardian druid is competing with top dps on dmg we know it, We are just wanting to see how hard alot of this unbalanced specs are gonna get nerfed or buffed to know what we do in advance, cause people donât wanna level up everything and be on hold for last second balancing to know what they play
