In Midnight, players can expand their specializations further with new Apex Talents, taking you deeper into the fantasy of your class. Available beginning at level 81, you’ll unlock the first of these and provide your character with an extra boost of power as you take on new challenges.
Can’t say that Apex Talents have me excited. Much like hero talents, they’re going to be ‘set and forget’.

Just checked them out. The tanks and healers at least. Quite a few of them have gameplay affecting parts. Turn Resto Shaman into a mindless auto-healer with totems. Guardian Druid looks mad too.
Poor Prot Warrior though, somebody really hates it.
It will become just a part of the optimal talent import text string you copy from the guides.
Always, but that’s how I deal with all talents in general xD
its just more power … for most specs at least.
obviously its nothing special. yet I quite like the Augmentation ones ![]()
It’s a dumb thing for me. The only borrowed power should come from tier sets that’s all. Just like before.
but we are always going to have them same as hero talents its not borrowed.
It is a bit silly to present something as talents if everyone is always going to pick them in every scenario imaginable.
I guess it validates the leveling process as each level then gives a talent point that you can dump into Apex talents. And Apex talents have to be so powerful that you will always pick them, because if you spend the points on the normal talent tree, then the choices that are designed into that system become undermined as you can just pick everything.
It is what it is, but customization it is not.
They’re basically all “just do what you were already doing, this adds a little bit of extra noise, very nice, that’s cool, bye”
